Good afternoon Hivers, I hope you are having a great day.
Today I want to tell you about a lunch I had with my wife a few days ago, where we went to a very well known restaurant chain in Bogota called Crepes & Waffles, which I recommend you to come to when you visit Colombia.
I took the opportunity to order a special Christmas dish, which although it did not refer to the Colombian Christmas dish, it was very good, especially because it referred to Indian flavors.
This dish was called "Esto es Vida" (This is Life) and it refers to a dish with different flavors to taste depending on the tastes we have, and to be honest, I liked all of them except the green one on the right, which seemed to be a "Pesto" sauce of which I am not a lover.
The other flavors did differentiate between salty, sour, sweet, sweet and sour and neutral, with a good portion of Turkey in the middle and bathed in a curry sauce.
curry sauce.
I had a good portion of "Pita" bread with which to accompany the different additions on the plate.
To drink I ordered a coconut lemonade which is a well known drink in this restaurant, and what made me most interested was to see the glass in which it was served, being very tall.
Finally I received an ice cream dessert which I can not describe well its flavor because it is not a flavor that refers to a fruit, but more artificial but soft, along with some portions of fruit that made a distinction between cold and soft but juicy.
This ice cream had a detail that I had never tried before, which are the rose petals, which although they did not have a taste similar to the smell of the rose, they did give an interesting visual touch.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
