I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.
One of the steps to take to have a healthy production outcome is by means of doing the needful at the beginning of every batch of birds I want to rear. That is the best thing to do when to kick start a new set of batch rearing broiler birds. This I have been doing ever since I have inculcated the habit disinfecting my pen after finishing a set of batch. The next batch would definitely be my fourteenth batch rearing Broiler birds.
Poultry farm disinfection is the process of getting some disinfectant liquid products with the aim to apply in the surface of the pen surface so that one can get rid of any diseases and viruses dropped by the previous batch of birds that may affect the new set of batch.
We have many disinfectant production in Dd force, sniper, morigard, formaline and many of them. But I am familiar with using the combination of dd force and formaline. All what I do is getting some quantities of dd force and formaline, then mix both together before applying on the pen surface.
The first application is to pour some quantities of mixed dd force and formaline into water inside the big black bowl.
So after that, I added some quantities of detergent of soap, Klin product to be precised.
The application of the disinfectant on the surface of the pen is an easy one. I make sure there is availability of a strong Broom to scrub the surface of pen when I am applying the mixed disinfectant of dd force and formaline.
The major purpose of applying this disinfectant is to get rid of any kind of diseases and viruses most especially diseases like merek, Newcastle that may affect the new set of Newcastle Broiler birds in the near future.
