Its been some time i visited home and due to the nature of my work i was occupied with work that going home was very difficult for me. But thisbtime around i was called by my dadvto come becausevtheyvare harvesting some of his maize he planted and also he have upto 75 chickens which he want to dispose very soon.

While i was there with him on the farm he enlighten me on farming and going for mixed farming. He explain that he has been using the dung from chicken as manure for the crops extendbof going up and down looking for manure or fertilizer this has been way of him getting manure for the plant. Also the maize he plant when he harvest them he dry them and pound it and add it with the kitchen food thereby reducing expenses on the part of the chicken.

I move round i was amaze with all the things i saw at the farm. He also have fish pond but is not functioning for now. He planted other things like pepper even make palm oil from the palm tree he has on the farm.
