RE: Sam’s Hangout #91 - “DOING DIFFERENT”

Hey Soma 🥰

Your friend have made her decision, your opinion is like the public opinion we are talking about here 😅, just joking, but don't stress yourself too much convincing her, leave her to follow the crowd 😅, she would still come back to you.

Oya, don't mind me ooh, I know someone that decided to accept a course that I didn't like and my reasons for discouraging her was obvious, I also tried convincing her, but she was more focused on what people would say and sitting for another jamb, those things don't matter to me fr and that's the major reason young teenagers become victims of regrets.
I allowed her and guess what? She's now seeing the reality of what I told her.

I have tried as much as I can to advise young people to stop the unnecessary rush to go to uni, keep fighting for that dream, don't let pressure make you study what you would end up regretting in the future.
This is Nigeria, there are many things to consider before choosing a career.

My vani 🥰

Like fr, her mind is completely made up lol. I just hope she doesn't come back to me crying sha cos saying sorry would sound so heavy on my tongue 😂.

Honestly, a lot of people just don't want to imagine how it would feel to write jamb yet again or more still, having to watch your peers bear the title of university students while you remain at home

My friend has always wanted medicine and surgery but her uni of choice gave her biochemistry despite having a veryyyy good jamb score and vroom, she went ahead with it. Didn't want to spend a year at home anymore.

If only people would just listen and wait patiently, then there will be less regrets and youths wandering about the society, hopeless.
