We all have different perspectives on different things, and the things that may seem just normal may very well get under the skin of others. I present to you today my pet peeves—those peculiar habits or behaviours that drive me up the wall.
I am not sure if this is a thing that people do everywhere else, but where I am from, some people tend to not face their fronts and mind their businesses. When driving past cars in neighbourhoods, for example, other drivers usually look into the cars of other people. I find it weird. I know that I never do it. If it's not a car that I recognise and belongs to someone that I should say "Hi" to, then my head's usually facing forward and minding my business.
In 2023, most people use phones that can be called smartphones. Unless there are special problems with the phones, then the other person on the phone should hear you just fine if you are close enough to the mic. Some people, however, would speak so loudly to their phones as though the phones were on the other side of the planet. You don't need to burst my eardrums when you're making phone calls. It is even more annoying on public transport vehicles.
How is it that people use the same ringtone that came with their phones? Then, when their phones ring, everyone in the room searches for their phones, as they may think that it's their phone ringing. It is why we can have them personalized. It's tiring to hear the same ringtones from popular brands everywhere and every time. And so much confusion, too.
If you are going to eat—please, I beg you—we do not need to hear percussions from your mouth. It can be annoying to have to listen to "shom shom chow chow gup gup" while eating. It doesn't have to be a war between you and the food. Let peace reign.
There should be a plausible explanation as to why certain people deem it fit to look at and read everything on my phone, especially in public spaces. Just mind your business and not look into my phone. To tackle that, I reduced my font to be so small that they would be unable to read anything and make sense of it.
Another thing to talk about is how people tend to put their footwear right in the middle of the entrance to a room when they are going in. There's a way to simply arrange it to one side, so it doesn't get in the way when people try to go in and out. Just imagine the catastrophe when more and more people do that. There'll be a need to make such a leap to cross the expanse of different footwear just to enter the room. Imagine that.
The last but not the least here today is owning your own thing. Personally, I like to have virtually everything that I need. Self-sustainability is key to my efficiency. I try to make sure to have all that I need regularly around me. It then baffles me when certain people keep going back and forth with my things. If it's going to be frequent, just own yours instead.
I am a very "mind-my-business" kind of person, so I never complain or put on countenances that insinuate disagreements with the aforementioned actions, so it doesn't come off as criticism. They do get under my skin, though, but they aren't the worst things in life.

Ringtone issues are very common everywhere. When a phone is right everyone checks their phone thinking that the call came to their phone and it's funny to see in public transport🤣🤣. Thankfully I use a different ringtone.
I am not hearing the sound🤣🤣🤣. can you share a voice note of it🤣🤣🤣
Hehe. I can understand and shared my incident a few days ago related to it and how I gave him a lesson also. you can follow my tricks also.
That's the thing. It is the very reason why I would change the ringtone of a new phone I get. It can become all too annoying to share ringtones with people and have it confuse you.
I am sorry, but y microphone isn't working, and I do not know why. 😂
I appreciate that. Thank you.
They are not worst things in life indeed but they cause one irritation.
The chewing part is a no no for me, I dislike chewing and making noise.
Yeah, they aren't. And everyone will always be different, so one just has to learn to not let them get under their skin all the time.
You're right
A lot of these things piss me off, but to be honest, I'm guilty of using the same ringtone that came with my phone. Except for a few custom ringtones for certain important people.
!pimp
You must be killin' it out here!
@b0s just slapped you with 1.000 PIMP, @olujay.

Heh...there was a caught.
I started using custom ringtones for certain people and for different apps. That way, I wouldn't be ignoring the wrong notifications. I haven't fully implemented it yet, but it's making sense.
