Good evening music lovers!
I just discovered a new kind of rhythm and yes, I am late at discovering it but better late than never I guess.
We all know how the Afro genre has made waves all around the world. From Afropop to Afrofusion. Itās just beautiful the kind of things our people come up with. They even have stuff like Afrojuju and Afrosapa. That one made me laugh. What I want to share today is AfroGospel.
I always had a problem with some of the Christian musics I listened to because there are days I am in the mood to move it really hard, but then the sounds are kind of limited. Of course I know we move to glorify God, doesnāt mean we canāt party.
Thanks to a youth hangout, I got introduced to AfroGospel where I started to listen to the likes of Limoblaze, Prinx Emmanuel, I-fee Sound and Nina Shezz. I just followed the playlist created for me.
Before I share these with you, this is TTT a.k.a Three Tunes Tuesday in case you didnāt already know, and it is hosted by @ablaze.
This song not only has the kind of rhythm that moves your body, but the kind of lyrics that moves your soul. Sometimes, I need things like this to remind me that I am not alone in whatever it is I face. I need to be reminded that I am a Child of The King.
Now, my cousin loves the song too. We listen to it together. She also loves AfroGospel and would get me to play some for her.
Okay. Now this one has been on repeat. I just love how much of the Afrovibes is in there. You canāt listen to this song and feel sad. Especially in that refrainā¦
ādo ji do ji, do do do rida do jiā
And Emandiongās voice is another hype. You can hear those drums! @abenad, have you heard this? You do love drums. I canāt hear this song and be anything but joyful.
This is the best love song I have heard this year. I can listen to this all day. Itās just the kind of thing I need to listen to all day. Prinx Emmanuel and Limoblaze is the best combo to me.
Who likes EDM? I love EDM! This was the first I listened to on the playlist because I was intrigued and whoop! I canāt get over that fusion of holy words with my favorite type of genre.
@fashtioluwa, have you heard of these? You do like gospel musics and I want to know what you think.
Okay. Thatās it from me. I love this new found genre. I hope you like it too. If you had a favourite, maybe share with me? Hehehe.

This desire song went viral 8months ago in Ghana after one particular wedding reel was everywhere but itās today that I took my time to listen after seeing it here again. Yes!! I can hear the drums. Iām putting this on my playlist. I love the fact itās Afro beat too.
That means Iām not the only one. Thank God š
Honestly this is my first time hearing something like AfroGospel. These musics must be interesting to listen to for you to share and recommend them?
Yeah. You can take the time to listen. It is quite lovely.!
hehehehe, I know some of these musicians; you should listen to "Spirit of Prophecy." That's the stage name and I am surprised you didn't mention "AEO" or that you don't like him again. I can see you playing his song on Discord almost every time.
Currently listening to Afro-heartbreak or Afro-breakup.
Tears in my eyes.
Lmao. I know SOP! I like them. And I love AOE but I have written about him before.
Who break ya heart?! š
oh, I knew you would have said something about him and the person who breaks my heart is no other than @nhaji01 you might not know her sha.
Like wind and the word are new to me, I know the other two. I am adding them to my playlist, for those days when I will be in the dancing and jumping mood š
Thanks for sharing š
