Last days of 2024|Edition 72

I started this year with an open mind, not knowing what I was expecting or even had plans of how the year would be for me, But I must say so far, It has been a long sweet ride and even though I haven’t gotten to where I want to be but at least I am not where I used to be. In the month of February I took a very controversial decision by selling off a very precious gift that I owned to entrol for my baking classes and I must at first I felt sad after taking the decision but in the end its all beginning to make sense now.

I started the class with zero ideas, not knowing that I would even spend much more than I invested in getting knowledge, honestly to an extent I even feel like giving up, but whenever I think my gift I sold, I sure get motivated again and besides this has always been on mind to do, its something I enjoy doing even when am at my lowest I still find joy in baking and designing, as we know baking is not just about paying the money and relaxing, there’s need for practice every day by day and for now I’m done with the classes I registered for, so I need lots of equipment to at least keep praticing on my own and also for job purposes.

In the last days of 2024 I really wish to get two most important items for myself, I really don’t how i am going to get them, but I just pray and wish for money to get them, and the first one is an oven, even a lame man knows that without an oven cakes can’t baked, yes people use other type of heat like stove or whatsoever but thats a total waste of time and gas, I just want to have a normal oven that can contain at least 8 different pans of cakes at a go, it could be an electrical oven or the gas hand made time, the hand made type is very okay because for me it actually gives the best results, it contains more cakes than the electrical, but only that the electrical oven is versatile and it mostly used in the house, while the handmade is mostly used outside because it is connected directly to the gas cylinder, but I really don’t mind having the handmade because like i said earlier it gives me the best results.

Second item I would love to have to start up my baking dreams is an electric mixer, this mixer has a very vital role to play, infact a baker without an electric mixer is just a joking baker, the mixer saves a lot of time and energy, without a mixer then mixing butter and sugar becomes very very stressful, it will take a lot of hours for it to become fluffy, but with an electric mixer, a fluffy result is achieved within 45mins to 1hour.
These items are extremely important to me because, before starting a baking business, these are important items that must be bought.
