HSCP—WK60. NEW PROMPT: THE JEALOUS FRIEND?
We welcome y'all to Hivestudents prompt, Week 60.
It's another amazing week, and you know what that means - it's the 60th edition of the weekly prompt to spark your creativity and get those ideas flowing in. I'm sure a lot of us have at a time or the other knew, met or have been close to someone who seems to not be happy when we do good things or when we seem to be doing very well in life. And most times it isn't easy to tell if it is jealousy or if we're the ones reading too much into it.
But then, there are a few things you will surely see that would now add up together that make you tell what it is or what it might be. Things like unnecessary competition, bad-mouthing, distance, negative comments, and a lot more are what you begin to see and notice, and that can lead you to believe or tell you that they're definitely jealous.
If you have a story about such, tell us about it. It might be when you're still a child, when you're in school, when you're a colleague at work, or even a family member.
We want to hear your own story. Have you ever had a jealous friend? How did you know what they were exhibiting was jealousy? How did you deal with it? Did the bond/friendship survive it? And lastly, how can we handle a jealous person?We would love it if you could share your own story or tell of one that you actually witnessed.
