THIS WEEK'S PROMPT

Title: WHAT MADE YOU WHO YOU ARE TODAY?

We've all passed through some moments in life; they leave us different than they actually met us. You know, our stories and experiences are all are different. We've all at a time met someone who left us different than they met us; we've gone through experiences that led us to be different than they actually met us; we've gone into something and failed at it, thereby making us a different person... The list goes on.

And the truth is, we may not even realize that change at first; you just suddenly realize that you're no longer that same person you used to be. Those things that interested you back then don't even interest you again; even the things that matter to you don't hold so much value anymore. A lot of things have changed: your thinking, the way you approach a thing, and many more now have changed.

Not as if such changes might have been easy; for some, they can be the best things that happened to them, and for some, they may come with a lot of pain.

But then, this week we need you to look back at your journey and the various experiences you've had that have helped to shape the person you are today.

What exactly changed you? Was it a person or a group of people? Is it an experience? Was it a mistake? What exactly was it that changed you? And how has that affected and changed the way you yourself and the world?
