It's another amazing week, and you know what that means - it's the 49th edition of the weekly prompt to spark your creativity and get those ideas flowing in. As humans, it is very easy to look at a colleague, friend, classmate, agemate, or just a random person and start wondering what exactly is wrong with you. Like, you begin to question your life and your journey, wondering what you did wrong, didn't do, or where you got it wrong.
You look left and right, and you see everyone going higher, ticking the box, achieving their goals, and living the kind of life you're still dreaming of, and before you know it, you begin to compare yourself with them
And there are times that comparison actually pushes us to work harder and focus so we can get there too; other times it steals our joy, peace, and confidence and makes us forget that which we've been able to achieve as well.
But we all are different; our journeys are different, our backgrounds are different, the challenges we encounter are different, and the opportunities that come our way as well are different. You can't just compare your own first chapter to someone else's middle chapter; that's not fair, and it's not even good for you.
But then, to not beat around the bush, this week we would like to hear from you.
Have you ever struggled with comparison? Did it affect you? What exactly did it affect? Your life, studies, business, or what? And then, do you think comparison is always harmful, like is it always a bad thing, or can it be good too?
