It's another amazing week, and you know what that means - it's the 23rd edition of the weekly prompt to spark your creativity and get those ideas flowing in. "A Skill or Talent That Changed Me"
Everyone has at least one or two skills or talents they have developed over time. Some talent or skill happens intentionally and sometimes, without even realising it. Here is a prompt inviting you to reflect on a skill or talent you have developed and how it has influenced your personality and life beyond being a student.
Some practical skills can be writing, public speaking, teaching, cooking, saving, budgeting, even time management and so on. For some, it might be the act of listening, staying calm, especially under pressure, being a leader or as simple as learning to say no and setting boundaries.
For instance, writing was a skill that was developed as a result of consistent practice some years ago when my younger sister introduced me to a writing platform. I began writing godly content, and she was always pleased when I wrote for her, as she was busy in school then and needed someone to help keep her blog active. It was something I never knew I could do; I never saw myself writing that much until she brought me out to realise I could write even a book someday, though.
How did you discover this skill? Was it dramatic, out of passion or just a challenge which you had to pick up? Share with us how it has helped you, maybe by improving your confidence, relationships, making decisions or how you perceive life differently.
