Someone: How are you doing?
Me: I'm doing fine.
It's a question and answer that never gets too old but somehow, we are losing the reason we get this question and we don't bother to know what's behind the response given. We have so many of us who think it is better to just say "fine" and continue dealing with what we are faced with.
It's not just you! We are all having silent battles we fight everyday. Life is fair enough that everyone of us have to deal with one issue or the other deep inside us. But should that define who we really are, that's totally up to us to decide, yea.
It can be exhausting to have a battle to fight personally, but we would only realize that we're not the only ones and be reminded of the positivity even in all that negativity, we would see that we are stronger than we think and we're writing great stories with our lives as epistles.
Recently, I've been thinking more about my life that it made me wonder if others have worse going on in their minds as they try to show up everyday to do life again. Here are some battles that came to me that I'm sure many of us are facing even when we say the generic, "I'm fine".
Everyone of us have a hurt we are trying to heal from but somehow, we act strong outwardly as we slowly heal or continue being hurt by internal wounds no one sees. Sometimes, we may never heal but we get stronger for whoever we become.

The internet has made this a serious battle for many of us, we keep comparing ourselves even before we realize that we are. Self-doubt is not helping either, we doubt ourselves and it makes us feel like we're not enough but that's not true.
I'm not sure about the most wealthiest people but what I'm sure of is, many of us are all smiling outside but our minds are making calculations to keep the bills settled and to have things running around and for us. It's a big part of being adults.
No matter how much I try to say I'm fine with it, I can't help but fight the thought of letting go what I had imagined my life would be at this point in time. But it's not just me and it doesn't make everything worse for me, I just keep pushing.
"Life is not balanced", I've heard and said this word countless times but deep down, we are pressured into comparing others progress to ours and we begin to feel like we are behind. In relationship, job, and assets, we do feel behind.
There are more but one thing is clear, we get stronger because of these battles we have to fight. We only need to learn to ask for help or let a tear out, it's only human when we do. As we do say in our slang, "Problem no dey finish - there will always be problems", the best we can do for ourselves is appreciate life and try to be happy.

Mostly same.
Especially for men
We are just keep it on our head and heart
I dont know other men but sometimes i want to tell my burden but all words that comes to my mouth is just another story not the problem itself
hahahah
and mostly i dont even know where to start to tell.
And the easy is just
"Chill dude I am okay"
But deep down it too much

I can relate with what you've said @arveno having so much to say but saying nothing.
I pray we find peace within us and win in every situation, stay strong. 🌹
These battles are very relatable. Many of us feel the same way, or even worse. But we have to be optimistic if we want to be happy, problem no dey ever finish 😂.
Take care of yourself, Merit.

I tend to refrain from saying "I'm fine" whenever I can or saying just "I'm fine" without adding anything to it. Sometimes, it's noticeable that people say it automatically without even much thought behind it. I guess it's easier that way than having to open up which is quite hard to do even around spaces we deem safe. Life is never easy, sometimes it looks simple, but underneath it's always hard.
