Beyond failed Plans

You know when you have a full-proof plan and you know for a fact that nothing can ruin it but you’re proven wrong. Something gets in the way. You never imagined it, you never saw it coming, Poof! Everything comes crashing down without warning.

Our natural reaction to our plans not falling through is disappointment. It’s worse when we have no plan B or plan C. We are left with nothing.

We end up whining and sulking about this failed plan of ours. People tell us that it’s fine but we know it isn’t as we worked so hard for this plan of ours.

Let us all bear this in mind; “ A failed plan does not define us”. Yes, it hurts but you cannot call yourself a failure because of this.
It didn’t work out and that’s okay. Pick up the broken pieces of your shattered heart and move on or try again if you can.

We all know how important it is to have as many backup plans as we can, but it’s not so easy to have all these plans up and running. It takes a lot of effort and time to come up with plan A in the first place.

It sucks to watch your plan fall through but sometimes things are beyond our control.

To everyone who feels a certain way because their plans fell through, this is a subtle reminder that you are not doing too much. You are not weird or weak for feeling certain emotions. It simply means that you are human and humans are at liberty to react a certain way when things don’t go as planned and that is very normal.

This is also a reminder that things will not always go your way and that’s okay, but letting it hinder you from pushing or doing other things is where the problem lies.

Sometimes we have to keep an open mind. That failed plan of yours might lead to something great, bigger and better than your previous plan or it can lead to a different path way better than the former.

I have had a series of failed plans this week. Trust me, it’s been pretty hard but I’m trying my best to hang in there. Regardless of how everything turned out, I’m trying hard not to let it get in the way of me doing other things. I know if I do, I’ll end up regretting it later and I don’t want to.

While you ask yourself “why you” and beat yourself up, remember you aren’t the only one feeling bad about your plans as some people have it worse.

So people, cheer up, brace up and keep pushing as the world is your oyster, you rock and I am rooting for you🥳🥳

Over to you guys; How do you feel when your plans fall through? How do you handle it? I’ll love to read your thoughts in the comment section.

That's right, my friend, plan B, C, D, and even Z. We must never give up; there is always another window we can open. Thank you for sharing. Have a great start to the week!...
