ANOTHER DAY TO REFLECT

It's already a new week and as long as you can read this post it means you have gotten another opportunity to do things right, think right, live right, love right, sleep right, talk right and basically do everything as you should. Sometimes we think all we are doing today is by our power, strength and hardwork but I can tell you that it's not at all. Even the best athlete today can be outruned all because of a muscle pull.

Life is not about how fast we are moving, it's about how well. If you are so focus on your speed there will come a time when you will have to go back and start again and by then you might not have enough time left. And that's why today we should take sometime to reflect on our lives and see if we are doing everything well as we should. I know you might say we are humans and we are not perfect.

Well, it's true that we are humans and perfection is almost so far from us but then that's why they say, slow and steady wins the race. Don't focus on the excuse that you can't be perfect, instead keep trying everyday to do what you know is right and little by little you will impress yourself by the person you will become because like I said, it's not by our power or strength or wisdom, but it's all by the grace of the one who came to redeem us.

Today is not going to last forever and some might not be so fortunate to see the end of today and it can be anyone, no matter how wealthy or poor you are, there is no exemption. We should just learn to say thank you when we should and also learn to say sorry when we should. We should tell people we love them when we feel like we should tell them and don't think you will have that opportunity next time because there might not be a next time.

I've heard and see some cases when someone had to get angry at his friend and he walked away without settling the disagreement between themselves even when his friend was pleading with him so soberly. After few minutes of him walking away, his friend was worried so he set out the go look for him. Meanwhile his friend who walked away stopped by at a convenient shop to get something for himself but he realized he had no money and the convenient shop does not accept coins, which was all he had.

While he was walking away sad because the salesman didn't had pity on him, the man was attacked by an armed robber who collected all the money he had made that day. The friend was just watching all of these things but refused to help the man because the man refused to help him earlier. He then walked away and as he was going, the salesman started yelling that there was a thief and someone should help him catch him. The friend still heard him but refused to do anything.

Meanwhile his friend who he got angry at was already nearby, looking for him. And he heard the man shouting for help so he stood to see clearly but before he knew what was happening, he was shot by the armed robber. The friend who refused to help the salesman turn back and discovered it was his friend that was shot. Sadly he lost his friend and till the end, he regretted the fact that he got angry at his friend and didn't get the chance to reconcile with him before he died.

Just like that man, so many people have lost the opportunity of reconciling with the people they love because they thought they had all the time in the world. So we should be reminded that we should love so much, forgive so much and also say sorry so much too both to those who offend us and to those who we offend.
