Wow, another lovely adventure awaits. This picture book village is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your photos and stories with us. It's amazing how the windmills are still working. It's great they've been converted to more modern use. Still, that's worth visiting in itself. I personally would love to explore small villages like this. Doubtful we still have a lot of it locally, as most have become modern and cater more to tourists. I hope you get to enjoy more of Greetsiel and share the experience with us once again. Thank you @iamraincrystal ! I was also fascinated by the windmills. They give the place its very special charm. Above all, you rarely see two windmills so close together. And the use as a café and bakery is absolutely fitting.
I also love exploring small villages, as it's a bit more leisurely and slower than in larger towns and you can just stroll around and take it all in.
