I've long been really interested in the types of games where one can be able to combine strategy and cards, so when I got to know about Soulkeep I had to research it and see if it was worth trying and the first thing I noticed was its connection to Splinterlands which in itself is a good thing as Splinterlands is one of the best Play2Earn games and has a fantastic card system.
The gameplay and graphics, in my opinion, are the first things that will entice anyone to play the game. From the tower designs to the cards and even the game's visual effects, everything is really well made. In contrast to traditional card games, the game is more than just cards; it also combines tower defense and strategy.
To be honest, seeing a lot of posts about the game really piqued my interest, so I decided to give it a shot. As I continued to investigate, I discovered that it is not just a regular game but rather a spin-off of Splinterlands, indicating that its economy may be robust and potentially last a long time.
The fact that it is still in its infancy gives anyone who joins the game the chance to collect rare cards first rather than having to return later to find that prices and cards have skyrocketed.
In Soulkeep, cards are represented by Towers, Spells, and Heroes, and each element has a different role in battle. Because you're not just collecting cards, but also having to carefully consider how to use them in battle, I think these types add a nice strategic element to the game. The first battle is just around the corner now that I've logged in, and I'm very excited to see how the system works in real life.
Is it really going to be as much fun as the reviews and videos suggest? As soon as I play the first battle, which I hope will mark the beginning of a new journey in Web3 gaming, I will share my experience.
