The art of teaching

I know that there are professional careers to prepare teachers and train in education, but I am referring to teaching as an art which, although it includes teaching professionals, does not include all of them and does include some non-professionals, it sounds confusing, right? It's good that we have many lines to express it more clearly.

I have always been interested in teaching others about things in which I see them confused and I think I am clear, I did not study to be an educator, however, I have completed my university studies so I have had contact with many educators throughout my life I even had to be an educator at a university for some time.

I have also had the privilege of teaching the sacred scriptures to my brothers in the faith, in fact next week I will finish teaching a course that I have been in for more than two months and I know that I have never told you about it but today it has arrived that day because what we did today has led me to the reflection that inspired this article.

Surely you will agree with me that you have ever had a teacher who apparently did not enjoy teaching or some who enjoyed it more than others and that is the point I want to touch on, there are people who feel passionate about teaching others and there are others who They only do it because it is a job responsibility, in the first case I think it is art because the artist is able to draw the teaching in the mind of his student in an almost magical way. Have you ever come across someone like that?

These types of people are always learning and teaching tirelessly because they enjoy doing it. When someone is enlightened by the information shared, they feel happiness, as if they were fulfilling the purpose for which they live.

It usually happens to me but today while the group was presenting I could notice some differences between the exhibitors and the way they taught. I also realized that when a person teaches the subject is taken more seriously than when it is taught.

The above has led me to believe that the best method to teach is to make your students try to teach you first, when they do they will give the most importance to the subject and that is when you take advantage of evaluating their level of knowledge and "polishing" the areas in which it is failing.

There are times when you are teaching with a lot of passion but the attention and interest of the student is somewhere else, in these cases they do not feel part of the class and they may even think that they are not noticed and nobody is interested If they understand or not, they just wait for time to pass to go about their business. If we let this happen, we would be wasting time and our effort to teach would be in vain if, after trying, our students continue with 0 knowledge of the subject studied.

One of the ways to get them to come back to the place is to call them by their names and ask them to give an opinion on the subject, getting them to participate will make them feel part of the teaching, that is where teaching gains strength because it will make that person who doesn't even He had an interest in the serious topic in his memory an important moment with the content of said topic and all because he tried to teach others what he thought.

In the end, if you manage to ensure that everyone can contribute something to the subject, you will make them part of the teaching and an atmosphere of harmony will be created that will facilitate teaching.

And you, what do you think of all this? Do you like to teach? Have you come across educators without a vocation? Do you know someone who has art to teach to the point that you can understand anything very easily?
