My wife and I "snuck" out of the house and enjoyed a banana milkshake together at a new Chic-fil-A near our house. Early in the day, I had purchased some "liquid nails" for my daughters new desk.

This was a desk that I saw at the curb while I was door-knocking. I stuffed it in my car and surprised the family with it. It was in pretty bad shape, but with diligent repairs and a new coat of paint, it's looking pretty good!

When the 'Liquid nails" didn't quite work right, mamma and I ran out to the store to get something else. While we were out, we had a short date (with our baby of course).

What was supposed to be a quick grab-and-go turned out to be much longer than expected. The Chic-fil-A was so busy! We ordered the milkshake and by the time it was served it was pretty much liquid.

It sure tasted good though!

The baby enjoyed all the new sights and sounds. She even tried a little taste of the milk shake. She was very approving!

We are trying to figure out a way to have a 'date night' at least once a month, maybe a little fancier than sneaking some impromptu fast food!
