Steam Brew Imperial IPA zum Beersaturday No. 250
Normalerweise trinke ich das Bier zum Beersaturday immer am Wochenende und irgendwann im Verlauf der Woche schreibe ich hierzu ein paar Zeilen und verewige das ganze auf unserer Lieblings-Blogchain.
Aber in dieser Woche bin ich bislang mal wieder nicht dazu gekommen etwas zu schreiben um am #Beersaturday No. 250 vom @detlev teilzunehmen.
Immerhin ist es eine Jubiläumsausgabe und außerdem gibt es auch noch von @Louis88 gesponserte Splinterlandskarten als zusätzlichen Preis.

Bittereinheiten: 45 IBU

Im Glas zeigt sich das Bier in der Farbe Bernstein. Das Bier ist klar, ohne eine Trübung. Die Schaumkrone ist strahlend weiß und feinporig.
Der Duft ist sehr fruchtig. Der Geschmack ist Okay. Das fruchtige tritt eher in den Hintergrund. Im Antrunk ist es leicht fruchtig, dann folgt etwas würziges und am Ende kommt der Bitter-Hammer. Der hohe Alkohol bleibt dabei auch immer gegenwärtig.
In the glass, the beer is amber in color. The beer is clear, without a cloudiness. The head is bright white and fine-pored.
The aroma is very fruity. The taste is okay. The fruity tends to fade into the background. first it is slightly fruity, then follows something spicy and at the end comes the bitter hammer. The high alcohol also remains always present.
Fazit zum Bier:
Das IPA habe ich mir zum Film Venom 2 aufgemacht, den ich entgegen der schlechten Kritiken, eigentlich ganz gut fand. Schönes Popcorn-Kino und ich mag den "Gehirne-Fressen"-Humor von Venom und Eddie.
Das Bier (0,5 Liter) hat jedenfalls für den ganzen Film gereicht. Der Alkoholgehalt ist spürbar und auch durch die Bitterkeit trinkt man dieses Bier nicht mal eben weg, sondern hat den ganzen Abend etwas davon.
Beer Conclusion:
I opened the IPA for the movie Venom 2, which I actually found quite good, despite the bad reviews. Nice popcorn cinema and I like the "brains eating" humor of Venom and Eddie.
Anyway, the beer (0.5 liters) was enough for the whole movie. The alcohol content is noticeable and also by the bitterness you do not drink this beer quickly.
