Hive Is More Than Just Rewards

The hive blockchain is a platform for everyone and can be a bit complex and overwhelming when you first sign up. Fortunately for me, I had a friend and my brother was already quiet acquainted with the blockchain when I started blogging. What I have learned in my almost 1 year here is that you never know it all. This is a place for constant learning and no matter how much you think you know, you would be surprised how little you actually know when you are asked a question about the blockchain.

Finding the right community to publish your content is fairly the easy part. Some communities accept content based on specific topics where others accept contents on a wide range of topics. Ah example is the sports talk social that accepts contents related to sports and the hive ghana community accepts more than just things related to Ghana.

If given the opportunity to give an advice to a newbie I will encourage them to take the time to explore the communities. There are a lot of communities and with right exploring, you will find one that suites you. Do not just post in a community because you see your friends or on-boarder posting there. It might not be your place your interest. One thing I have realized is that if you are probably struggling to find content for a specific community, it is likely not for you.

The first important thing we must know is that hive is not a get rich quick scheme. This is not Ponzi and so you are not likely to make so much money when you first sign up. What you have to do is to be patient and build yourself on the platform. Build your following my engaging with contents that interest you.

We should try to read most of the things we come across. By doing that, you will get to know a lot more than people can tell you. We should also ask questions. Do not be shy or afraid to ask questions. There are a lot of users who are available to answer questions when you have one. Ask and you will be more informed.

As newbies, we should try to expand our niche when we can. Blogging is not the only thing hive is known for. Vlogging and gaming are other aspects of hive that some of us do not use. The vlogging side of hive is very encouraging and the gaming aspect is same. Like blogging, there are a lot of users who are ready to help you play whatever game you are interested in. You can also earn more by playing these hive blockchain games.

I will also advice newbies to be careful with plagiarism. Try as much as possible to write your own content and if you cannot, source whatever information you take from the web. In as much as long form content is a big part or hive, short form contents is admittedly what a lot of us like. It’s probably easier that way.
