If the alarm clock could talk

We humans have loads of activities to indulge in on a daily basis, and these activities cut across different times, hours, and days across the week. Without the use of an alarm system, it'll be hard for us to keep up with those activities. So, in order to be on time and stay true to our schedule, the importance of an alarm system can never be overemphasized. But when you thoroughly look at how most of us interact with this alarm system, I can bet if those devices were to be able to speak, then they'd have either some positive or negative to say about us, and today I'll love to share a guess of what my alarm device could possibly say about me.

I'm the kind of person who depends greatly on the alarm device to remind me of the things I need to do and when I should do them. That means if you go through the alarm segment of my phone, you'll see loads of already stipulated alarms that are waiting for the right time to start ringing to remind me of my plans, and this is because I'm mostly forgetful and could easily forget what I want to do in the next minute. This is so because I could have been distracted by other things I'm doing. To not forget, I set this alarm to remind me and still set another few minutes after the first to do the same again.

My alarm clock will be like, Hi Vick, I know my duty is to support you and keep you up-to-date with all of your activities, but then you need to understand that I'm not a substitute for thorough strategic planning of your activities; my duties are mainly to consolidate your plans and not to take the forefront in all, and I can categorically tell you that this has been what you've been doing in the past few weeks that has made it seem like you're always behind schedule or doing things at the deadline.

The best way forward to get you up-to-date and on time with all your activities is if you can lay down a plan, and thereby we can collaborate to join forces in making sure they are achievable. That's all from me to you. I hope you listen and take heed to my advice; otherwise, those unnecessary activities that got you distracted will keep doing the same, and you'll end up being short on time throughout your days.

It seems like a message I would have told myself, but then it's exactly what the alarm system would have said too, so thanks for your time. I hope you enjoyed the read. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Lol, straightforward with no drama attached. Your alarm does know how to make you do the right thing if it does talk.
