I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #467 - Yes, You Can Become a Hive Whale from Scratch! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Monday, October 6, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I've talked many times in my posts about how my long-term Goal (with a big G) on Hive is to become a Hive millionaire whale 🐳 fairy🧚‍♂️, so that I can support and lift this whole glorious Blockchain and everyone on it, sprinkle goodness all over the Ecosystem, and also to be able to easily live off of what I create here. Yes, it's a massively huge goal, that I've been told is not possible without outside investment. I know, however, that it is actually very posssible to grow our accounts to whale level from scratch, starting with nothing, zero, zilch, nada.

How do I know this? Two reasons. One, I know how the magic of compounding interest and exponential growth work, and our incredible Blockchain is based on these. Two, I know of people who have done it. One very notable and well-known example is @arcange, who reached whale level after six years of solid involvement on the Blockchain. The deeply inspiring and motivating story of his journey on Hive is detailed in On becoming a whale - My journey on Hive, that he wrote eight months ago at this point. I remember reading it many months ago, and it was in fact part of my inspiration and motivation to choose such a lofty goal for myself as well.

In his post, which I very much recommend reading, he describes the important lessons that he learned along the way, one of the most essential of which is to have a long-term vision, and to engage deeply with the community. Set your goals high, and work toward them every single day. He reiterates the incredible importance (that we all know) of commitment, dedication, consistency, persistence, perserverence, and patience in reaching our goals on Hive, both small and short-term, and massive and long-term.

The power of cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork are also mentioned, given the nature of our beloved community-based social Blockchain, where we rise by lifting others, and nobody succeeds alone. This to me is one of the brilliant and beautiful aspects about Hive, that is a integral part of how it functions, for the good of all.

Another significant lesson mentioned in his post is going outside of our comfort zones, as this is necessary for both personal growth as a human, and for our greater success. Hive is such fertile ground for this! Here we can be whatever we want, so learning to put ourselves out there is good for everyone!

Contributing and giving of ourselves is another big one, as on Hive we receive what we give, and on so many levels! Giving without any expectations of return, for the personal joy and satisfaction in knowing that we truly made a beneficial and positive different in people's lives and in the community is incomparable and pricess!

Surmounting our own personal envy and jealousy in the face of other's success, learning to celebrate it instead, and focusing on our own unique journey on Hive is also a lesson many of us need to learn, and well! Together we thrive, so congratulate and celebrate the success of those around us! On Hive we all benefit when any one individual succeeds!

My hope is that this post lights the fire of determination and passion within you to choose giant goals, and then work toward them until you succeed, because you can! We need a lot more whales here on Hive, and I promise to do my absolute best to reach that level! I'd love a whale fairy tribe, made up of those who desire more than anything to be a force for profound good on the Blockchain! Won't you join me?

Yesterday, Monday, was an odd and atypical day. Not bad, though it just didn't flow with the usual cadence. In the midst of working to catch up on Hive after being almost two days behind, and getting essential Hive tasks done, I had to leave the Flow House before I was ready to go help Braja (Ano's mother) at her place to find certain items in the great many boxes and bins stacked on all sides of her house. I continued catching up on my Hive notifications in any spare moment. After helping Braja, I shared an excellent conversation with Sperry (@nysqually) on the fall of the cabal and their slave system and The Great Awakening. After talking with Sperry, I went to get my machete to collect a wheelbarrow full of cow food (Cecropia leaves) for the next morning, which thankfully didn't take long, as I'm a fast and efficient fellow.

I felt more scattered than usual, and I found myself traversing the property multiple times doing various small tasks until sunset. Once the sun began to go down, I strained out kefir in the Landing for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself food, got food for my kitten friend, then I returned to the Flow House to get as much done on Hive as I could, both important tasks, and getting as close to being caught up on my notifications as possible. I worked to catch up from 7:30PM straight through to just past 1AM, without completing my task successfully (yes, I have that many notifications!). I finally made myself go to sleep around 1:15AM. While I did sleep pretty well, I definitely feel like I could have used more. I woke up later than usual, at 7:30AM, and immediately started on a round of token management, and then completed @benthomaswwd's @heartbeatonhive contest, before getting out of bed at 9AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.

It's now just after 1:45PM, so it's time for me to end this post, so that I can dive into my afternoon round of Hive essential tasks, more catching up on my rapidly-multiplying notifications, and then to go get some land work done later in the afternoon.
