I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #464 - Hive's Incredible Economic Resilience - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, November 3, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Hive has successfully weathered two crypto winters/bear markets, while so many other crypto projects have become insolvent and gone belly up, and without any major problems. Hive just keeps chugging and humming along. Do you realize how significant that is? That demonstrates a very strong economic resilience, and one that so many other crypto projects don't seem to possess.

How and why is Hive so easily able to traverse these low crypto markets, while other projects flounder and fail?

If you think about, and feel into it for a moment, I bet you'd see it clearly. Hive's true value, and hence its economic resilience, is based on the human value of those that love and believe in this exceptional Blockchain, and who have stake in it. It's because of us, you and me, that Hive has been able to thrive through two crypto winters, and continues strong to this day.

We have our own amazing and rich world here on Hive, and one that can interface with the outside world when needed. In truth we have our own sustainable Hive economy, and the more of us are here building, growing, saving, and reinvesting back into the Ecosystem, the stonger and more solid that economy becomes.

The fiat values of HIVE and its derivative assets are as meaningless and baseless as the accepted values of the fiat currencies with which we're comparing them. How can we evaluate something with actual and true value using something that is not connected with anything of actual value itself, and which is in fact based on negative value, or debt? Answer: You can't. That's why I will say it over and over again, Hive and its assets are more inherently and intrinsically valuable than any fiat currency. Period.

That's one of the big reasons that I'm here building, growing, saving, and reinvesting, through thick or thin, every single day, regardless of what the the fake fiat world says about the value of Hive and its assets at any particular moment. We have something exceedingly special here with Hive, and I know that very well indeed, and I'm making my choices here each day in accordance with that knowledge. At some point the whole fiat monetary system will inevitably collapse, likely sooner rather than later, and when it does Hive's true value will shine like a candle in the dark.

Yesterday, Friday, was my fifth day in a row of me not being able to fully catch up on Hive. While this is frustrating me quite a bit, I'll just keep doing my best to bring everything up to date. Pretty much any spare moment is spent trying to catch up. Multiple tipping bots are still borked, which also really annoys me, as I am not very able presently to reciprocate tips that people give me. I deeply hope that the tip-bot issues, which have been ongoing since around October 20th, are able to be resolved very soon.

I left the Flow House yesterday about 4PM, after hours of working to catch up on my quickly-multiplying notifications, to go focus on some land work. I took a short time to take photos for this post first, before diving into my tasks for the day. When I was ready for work, I finished up some of the last things to do at the Octagon, as a part of its rebuild (there's only one task left), and then I collected and put away the tools that were being used there. After I finished at the Octagon, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of cow food (Cecropia leaves), for the next morning.

Once I finished with work, I took a shower, strained out more kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself good, got food for my kitten friend, and then I returned to the Flow House, to jump into my long night of catching up on my Hive notifications and tasks once again. This time I was only able to get to within 13 hours of being caught up. Not great. I finally was too sleepy to continue, so went to sleep a bit after 11:30PM. I did sleep well, very fortunately, waking up around 6AM, and immediately completing a time-sensitive Hive task (@benthomaswwd's @heartbeatonhive contest), before diving into a long round of catching up on notifications. I finally got out of bed just after 9:30AM, got some leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge in the Landing, got my kitten friend some food, then I returned to the Flow House to continue with my Hive catch-up, and then to write this post.

It's approaching 12:45PM, so it's a good time to end this post now, so that I can get back to my efforts to catch up on Hive, get a few essential Hive tasks done, and then go do some land work later in the afternoon.
