I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. LeoFinance started another round of their Zealy Onboarding Campain on Monday, September 11th, to bring more people to the Hive Blockchain. Although I was invited, I didn't participate in the first round, as I my Hive plate was already quite full at the time. Now, however, there is more space for a new focus like this, so I'm diving in to take part in the fun!

What's the motivation to participate, aside from the mutually-beneficial activity of bringing more people to our beloved Blockchain Ecosystem? Well, the prize pool this round is pretty exciting!

That's a lot of HBD! I'm a pretty active bugger on the Blockchain, as many of you might have noticed, so I think that I have a good chance of doing well in the Leaderboard. I'll do my absolute best!

It took me a little bit of effort this morning to get my Zealy account properly connected to my Hive, Twitter/X, and Discord accounts, to be able to do the daily quests, but everything is working fine now, and I've already gotten myself to level 3! The next quest is to invite one friend to join in on the campaign, so if you'd like to get in on the fun, have the possibility of winning a nice chunk of HBD, and help me complete this quest, you may do so using my invitation link below!

Onboarding new people to Hive has been one of my long-term goals, which is why I've been collecting and compiling lots of useful and helpful onboarding information in a Simplenote note here for quite some time now. I've learned a great deal about Hive and how to do well here in my almost two years on this exceptional Blockchain, and I want to help as many others be able to do the same as I can.

From what I understand, there will be new rounds of quests to complete each month through December, so there will be many opportunities to rise in the Leaderboard. The quests are mostly short and quite easy to complete (at least the ones I've done so far), so the level of difficulty is quite low, which makes fitting them into a full schedule fairly easy.

This will be my first time participating in this campain, so we'll see how I do, but I'm excited! Now that I have everything with Zealy set up correctly, things are going quite smoothly! Come join me in bringing more amazing humans to our glorious Blockchain, and maybe win some excellent prizes in the process! Let's go!

Yesterday and today Ecency has been having some notable problems with notifications, which made completing Hive catch-up take about four times longer than it usually does. It seems that multiple dApps have been having issues over the past two days, as I was having a hell of a time successfully uploading images for this post via PeakD this morning, and Engage had a kiniption last night, logging me out and not allowing me to log back until this morning, which made me have to put off finishing my comment moderation for @aliveandthriving until today. I'm very understanding about these sort of issues, given that everything is done through people in the community donating their time for the good of all us. When multiple things across multiple dApps go awry simultaneously, however, it gets a little frustrating. This to me just hits home the absolute necessity to decentralize and/or distribute everything, to remove any single points of failure.

I finished up on Hive as well as I could given various things not working, and I left the Flow House yesterday around 3 PM, to go do some land work. Before doing so, however, I took a little time to shave (buzz) my head and face, and to take photos for this post. Once those were completed, I got one of the 10-foot orchard ladders and cleaned out two of the gutters that feed some of out water catchment tanks. Once I had that done, I sharpened my machete and did a good round of clearing work with Ano on the hill in one of the new orchards, around the mulch pile, and near Ano's new studio and two of my Coleus beds. We worked until around 5PM, at which point we both went to get ready to go over to Aina Io (land of the hawk, in Hawaiian) for @aukuna's completion ceremony for him having gone through a weekend-long MKP (Mankind Project) immersion.

MKP is a truly excellent international men's group that does a lot of good in the world. This was the first time I've been off-property and around so many people (around 100) in quite some time. Listening to how the men who took part in it were affected by the experience was deeply moving and inspiring for everyone, myself included. We stayed there until almost 9PM, then finally headed back home to GaiaYoga Gardens.

When I got back I fed my sweet little kitten friend again, then did my best to catch up on Hive again with partially functioning Ecency notifications. I wasn't actually able too finish before I became to sleepy to continue, and I crashed into bed just after 12AM. I did my best to catch up more this morning before I got out of bed, in between playing with my kitten friend. I finally got up just before 9AM to go make my superfood fire coffee, and then dive into more Hive catch-up and tasks, with Ecency notifications still not working well, which made the process quite slow.

I got my Zealy account set up this morning, did several quests, then I began writing this post. It's now just after 1PM, so a very appropriate time to end this post, so that I can get back to catching up on Hive, do a few important Hive tasks, then go do some land work later.
