Ok, let's buy some DAB!
So, this is a quick update on my most recent hive engine shenanigans. Generally, these days I am staying away from most hive engines token and instead focusing on building my hive power.
However, @silverstackeruk launched a few days ago a new project called DAB. @silverstackeruk is the man behind SPI which is one of the oldest and most successful projects on hive engine. This is a train I unfortunately have missed. He is also the founder of lbi-token and Eddie earner.
Furthermore, DAB apparently also has strong ties with the BRO token by @raymondspeaks, which has been my biggest hive engine win since I got into BRO during its' baby steps.
So it only made sense to me to get into DAB. The project is still in presale so you may want to learn more about it and maybe send some hive.

Tldr, you send hive and receive DAB tokens which pay you daily hive dividends for an approximate 15 % APY in hive. Not bad considering HP gives about 8-10% APY.
DailyDab is an income token at its heart that rewards DAB token holders with a daily HIVE drip. There is no DAB token presale, none are pre-mined and the total distribution will be issued through different tokens starting with DBONDS.
Like the other tokens by @silverstackeruk , I think this one too relies on inflation and tweaks around it with various ways (e.g. regular posting) to achieve a better APY then a passive HP would. However, the announcement hints other tactics (e.g.nft sales) will also be employed to strengthen dividend rewards.
The end goal is to create an ecosystem of DAB reward tokens and grow our DAB army over time. This will be done by releasing new tokens and possibly NFTs that will mint new DAB into circulation. Each of these tokens will have its own tokenomics and be able to be gamified by investors.
Together, we aspire to build a thriving 100% HIVE ecosystem, centered around Daily DAB, where the community enjoys a daily HIVE drip. This collaboration between @silverstackeruk & @raymondspeaks benefits not only individuals but also our interconnected ecosystems, fostering unity and mutual growth.
Anyways, I decided to start with a 1200 hive investment and may or may not put some money. Haven't decided yet.

if you optimize your voting and stuff you can get at least 11% APR from hive power ( curation + inflation ) and I'm getting that on my alt account. Missing out on 4% is whatever for a pleb at least, if you have millions of Hive then that's a different story. Also LBI hasn't exactly blown me away in the past 2+ years. But it's nice to see new
ponzi schemesprojects on the chain I guess :PWell lbi hasn't performed goood price wise due to Leo price tanking. But last time I checked, they did start like 1 lbi = 1 Leo and now it's 1 lbi = 2,x leo. much better then self curation. Same applies to dab. If hive price tanks (in USD) it will as well. But you will still get a better APY in hive (supposedly)
Correct, LBI appericiates in LEO but is there any exit from LBI is someone need to exit, LBI trade value is now even less than a LEO in open market.

Not much i can do with LBI when LEO have 1 use case on chain, curation earns 5% and LEO inflation was 47% last year. This something i could never have predicted. I wrote a post about the 47% inflation in 5-6 months but nobody seemed to care, baaa-hahaha.
Maybe you dont understand what a PONZI is. LBI has not sold tokens are collected any funds from anyone in over 2 years. Leo/CUB Finance itself is more comparable to a Ponzi scheme than anything I will ever release.
Im, not the enemy my friend and I personally make nothing from LBI.

sorry if it came out a little mean, I was just venting like a silly little pleb. I have some residual frustration due to the fact I put a lot of Hive ( a lot for me at least ) into Leo and LBI and it did nothing but lose dollar value until now. Haven't lost hope yet but until things improve I'll continue to be a little salty.
Ps: I know what a Ponzi scheme is, but I like trowing a little shade once in a while, because I'm retarded and it's fun :) So I hope you'll forgive me :P

I'm still new here don't really know what all this is about but would love to know tho.
Unfortunately I've been using all my Hive to power-up, so I don't have nearly what you put in. But that said, I will also be putting some into it. I may invest some outside money too. I also missed SPI but I've been very happy with EDS. Wish I had bought more of those miners when they were available, actually... I'm definitely down with this daily dab idea.

I got into SPI early. Was late to the BRO token, but I’m in a little now. I’m on the fence for DAB still but I’ll decide shortly
Thanks for the info, let me check it out. I like to support Hive second layer projects. Especially if there's room to earn of course.
I still haven't bought into it yet but I do plan to buy a few tokens. I don't know how it will do though but it doesn't hurt to diversify a bit.
