๐Ÿช™๐Ÿช™๐Ÿช™ Fake Gold Coins from Temu ๐Ÿช™๐Ÿช™๐Ÿช™

As I told you a few days ago, I ordered some fake gold BTC themed coins from Temu just for the lulz a few days ago.

To be fair, the listing did mention they are just gold plated and not gold. But I doubt they are even that ๐Ÿ˜‚

Each piece was about 2 USD and I got em today after about a week of waiting.

So let's see what that amount of money can buy you on Temu:

Fyi, they both came in their very own plastic case which is a nice plus considering their super cheap price.

Although I tried my best with the photos, they actually look much better from up close.. They also are very shiny and they have some very nice details!

However, they do feel "cheap" on the hand, probably because I am used to 1 oz silver pieces in that diameter size. I didn't weight them but they just felt too...light. And too...thin. Hopefully, I won't get cancer by whatever they are made off ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

All in all, I'd say they looked way better then I expected! Considering the price, imo they are the perfect cheap novelty gift for someone into Blockchain, BTC and stuff.

I am also expecting two more coins to come very soon. One like the ones you just saw (but supposedly silver plated) and one with Doge as the main theme. I'll get back to you when I receive them :)

They don't look too bad. You could always put that fake gold in a decoy safe in case a burglar ever breaks in. ๐Ÿ˜†

That's what I did. I have a poorly hidden, cheap safe from Amazon with around 12 fake JM "gold" bars in it. ๐Ÿ˜†

Well, there ya go!

I did see that they were selling fake Morgan silver dollars a while back, also for a couple of bucks apiece. I guess with TEMU at least you know everything you get is fake!

Funny to think that the late @onceuponatime had actual $BTC rounds made as promo giveaways at seminars way back when. They were about a $15 spiff for conference attendees; keys laser engraved right on them. Times sure have changed!

I think the Air-tite plastic capsule is worth more than the coin, at least more useful.

Wow one must have really been able to look into it thoroughly to be able to detect whether it is fake or not

Yeah I think they are really prone to wear and tear so I'll just keep em in their capsules!
