Boom! Look at all these sexy shiny coins that were waiting for me today in the mail

received_1091407385345800.jpeg

What a way to start the day!

But let's take everything from the start!

Good ol @goldrooster put some silver on sale like a month ago and I immediately grabbed the opportunity! He is a really great guy, with really good prices. Honestly, he could have charged more (and I'd still buy) but I think he prefers his silver to go to fellow peeps from #silvergoldstackers who will love it as much as he did rather than making a few extra bucks... Or maybe that's just me being romantic 😅 Who knows, he is a great guy that's for sure!

Anyways, fast forward a month later and this bad boy arrives for me:

20 shiny pieces 🌝😍💰

Let's play a bit with them before I place back to the tube!

20 x 1 oz coins. That's about 566 grams of pure silver. I guess it will eventually come handy!

Fyi, with today's spot price of 0.73 $ that's about 413 $ worth of melt value.

K, some more photos:

2.5 inches tall! Much like @bitcoinman's 🍆 😂

In case you wonder, these coins are called Guinea Spades and are produced by the East India Company on behalf of St. Helena. They were first issued in 2018, mine are the second generation from 2019.

On one side we have a sexy portrait of Queen Eli (by Raphael Maklouf) and on the other the Spade Guinea design featuring the British Royal Arms. This appeared on Spade Guineas from 1787 - 1799.

As for yhe original guinea, it was a coin, minted in Great Britain between 1663 and 1814, that contained approximately one-quarter of an ounce of gold.

The name came from the Guinea region in West Africa, from where much of the gold used to make the coins was sourced. It was the first English machine-struck gold coin, originally representing a value of 20 shillings in sterling specie, equal to one pound, but rises in the price of gold relative to silver caused the value of the guinea to increase, at times to as high as thirty shillings. source and further reading

These are my first guinea coins, actually I hadn't heard of them before like a month ago 😂 And now I have twenty 🎉

Wow... Most people don't seem to believe me, but "each one" of those 20 One Ounce Silver Rounds will one day, have the Melt Value of 18,000 X 20 of "today's" Fiat USD's... Not the Spending Power of "tomorrows" Fiat USD's, but "today's" Fiat USD's... The Reason I called them "Rounds" is because I couldn't find a Face Value...

But what about actual buying value? 18k sounds a lot , but if it's only for a bread... 😅

You could buy a lot of Bread, with 18,000 of "today's" Fiat USD's... A single loaf of Bread will probably be about 5 Cents, in Sound Money... A Pound of Copper would be less than 4 Cents, in Sound Money...

That's right, we must buy such opportunities and we know that the prices of things are going to go up a lot within a short period of time. All these coins designs looks so beautiful.
