My Special (NJ)

Greetings to the hive Ghana’s family. I feel honored to participate in this newbie's challenge. What makes it more interesting is knowing that even as newbies, we are not left out. However, we are warmly welcomed by those who have gone on before us in this field. Driving down to the day 1 topic; What Makes Me Special?

This is me lying down on my bed, took a pause from typing and then thought this through before typing again.

I wouldn't tell you that i haven't thought about myself as “special” but then i haven't truly dwell on such thoughts.
When people use the word “special” on me, they tend to add something extra by saying “peculiar” or “intelligent”

From other's perspective, I get to hear the word “special” as a compliment when the other party comes to know that I am a left-handed person. Most people would be like “Aww.. You're so special” then a question like “i guess you must be pretty intelligent” would follow.

So yes!_ I think in the eyes of some people being left-handed makes one special and since I am one of those, it makes me special too.

While for me, I relate “special” to the few experiences I've encountered. I think merging my life and the little challenges that have crossed my path is what makes me special.

I was once told that great people or those born great always face difficult and life daring challenges.. Am not saying that's hundred percent accurate but like they say in every nonsense there's an atom of sense in it. I've learned to call myself great and even sometimes practice those self affirmation words and I believe that makes me special in my kind of way.

Also, I think it's an opportunity to have seen the two faces of life, i mean knowing what it takes to have plenty and knowing the feeling of being left with nothing. Having known at least a little of this, has shaped my thinking about life in general. sometimes you would be tempted to have wrongly guess my age by increasing trice the actual number..this happens to me most times..lol And it happens because of how i speak and interact with others which falls back to my experience.

Not to mention, am beautifully and wonderfully made by God😌 so yes, you have it here..am special in all this ways and probably more that am yet to realize.
