The old vintage shop of my favourite friends / grandpa in SINGAPORE

How are you? I hope you have an awesome day today that is better than yesterday.

I love vintage shops; everywhere I go, I try to find some shops that sell antiques and old stuff. Of course, in most of the places I go , the item is quite expensive because of its value. The older those items are, their value will become more expensive, and the price will differ according to their story. There will be more value if it relates to people who used to be famous.

The price is sometimes not reasonable, but collectors will never care about the price as long as they are satisfied with those items. I'll usually come around and enjoy window shopping while reading the information on the item if they provide any information about it. The seller that I meet is usually more friendly, and I always end up listening to the items in the shop and sometimes also to their stories. Most of them have a similar story where they used to be collectors who also spent thousands of dollars to buy the item. They say it was like an investment because, like I say, it becomes more expensive as they age. (This reminds me of wine, LOLZ.) . But. let me tell you some secret about them: their best collection at home and only selling items that they don't need, or, to be precise, items that they have bought a lot. (They are trying to make space in their house.)

I'm sharing both photos of shops that sell vintage items because their owners are very friendly. Even though their English is not that good, they are trying their best to communicate with me. I actually wish that I could speak and understand Chinese.

I didn't want to complain, but the other shop owner wasn't as friendly as them. I'm not saying that they are rude, but I think that their English is not that good since most of them are old.

Oh ya , dont ask me their photo because i was forget to take some photo of them because we do talk and sharing story too much. I promise to take their photo if i got the oppurtunity to talk with them in future.
