PAKCIK THE COBLER

"Pakcik" means uncle in our local languages. It's how we show respect to people who are older than us and have knowledgeable wisdom about life.

He was concentrating on doing her job to fix his client's shoe when I spotted him open his shoe vendor at Pathway in Sinsuran.

I can imagine from her physical appearance and face that she has been in the business for a long time, and I think he can get the expert cobbler title due to his hours working on the same thing every day. It was sad but true that many people who work on the street didn't get much from their work, even though they were experts. There was not much demand to fix broken shoes. It's only enough to have one good meal a day for what they do.

But thinking on the bright side, just imagine how much money they can help people save by helping them fix their shoes instead of buying expensive shoes every time their shoes break. Im actually also one of their regular customers.

Just look how proud he doing his job .
