KERIS, ONCE ALSO KNOWN AS A MAGICAL WEAPON

This is the traditional dagger that was used by locals as a personal weapon a long time ago. This dagger, also known as "KERIS," has a curving blade compared to other daggers, knives, or blades we used to see, especially in the movie.

"Keris" was made this way, and they say it will slice the flesh inside out, practically being used while defending and attacking. It was believed to have originated in Indonesia and became popular during the glorius years of Melaka, an important port hundreds of years ago.

"Silat" was the martial art that used "Keris" as one of its main melee weapons. The weapon and the martial art are sometimes related to each other's magical powers.

I didn't know if this weapon had been used as a personal weapon a long time ago, and it might have killed people during that time. I feel so lucky to have found this weapon while I was cleaning the house.

There were a lot of types of this weapon. Some were big and had different engraving arts. Some even used gold or silver for the engraving; you can easily find it on the internet, especially that being used by the popular fighter.

If you find one in your storage, you consider yourself lucky because it was very expensive to get one, and it's not easy to get "KERIS" with good quality because most of the time, it's only made for display.
