CHINESE NEW YEAR IS COMING
Greeting everyone,
How are you? I hope you have a wonderful day that is better than yesterday.
CHINESE NEW YEAR IS COMING.
It felt just yesterday that I posted about Chinese New Year, and I already see a lot of decorations for Chinese New Year preparations.
Last week, I have to Chinatown in Singapore and saw a huge camp that sold decorations for the celebration. It was not just at CHINATOWN, but I can see most of MRT stations have the same huge camp to sell the same red stuff.
The majority of Singaporeans were Chinese, so I believe those decorations can be sold during the holiday season, and the best thing the seller can hope for is that they will not sell out this year.
They believe the red decoration will bring prosperity, wealth, and good health for the whole year. It was a good fortune, and I think the most important thing during this celebration is one of the reasons for family gatherings after being away from home.
Here some photo that i take while visiting the area :
There was a lot choices of decoration that can be choose from this sales. Look at the cute decoration being displays.
Many people come with family not just to buy but also to spend quality time with their love one.
Angpow is a must especially for married people .

Other vendors also selling some of their speciality item :
While at the other side of this place , also some old people hang out with their friends :

.It's great to hear about your visit to Chinatown in Singapore for Chinese New Year preparations. The festive spirit is clearly in the air with vibrant decorations and bustling camps set up not only in Chinatown but also at various MRT stations. The red decorations symbolizing prosperity, wealth, and good health add to the holiday's charm.
It's interesting to note the significance of these decorations in the Chinese culture and their role in bringing families together, which is heartwarming. Your photos must have captured the essence of this beautiful celebration perfectly.
The tradition of giving Angpows and the variety of specialty items from other vendors further highlight the rich customs of the Chinese New Year. It's wonderful to see people of all ages, including the elderly, enjoying their time in these festive surroundings.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Looking forward to your next journal entry. Enjoy the celebrations!
