Rising Star Game Progress and More Raves

It’s been awhile since my last post on Rising Star, so I thought it was tmie to hit the keyboard and Rave a bit about the game.

Raves testing continues to be ongoing. We don’t know when it will drop at this time, could be a few weeks, maybe a couple of months. Who knows? I sure as heck don’t! Jux had to remove the Chat function from Raves for now as it was causing some performance issues. He did state that he has a plan to bring the Chat function back into Raves. Mostly the testing involves load testing the game server and see how much pounding it can take. We’re using FanBoost1 and SkillBoost1 to perform the Police Raid and Hoax Call parts of the Raves. There is also a banner across the top identifying Rave number and what the bonus target is. One thing Raves will be doing is providing a Use Case for owning record NFTs in game.

Speaking of Record NFTs, I bought my first, and second, Record NFTs. The first one I bought is from the Stickup Boys. These guys are major supporters of Rising Star Game so how I could I not make my first record NFT be one of theirs? Plus their music Rocks! The second one is from Rob Vector with a nice instrumental piece. Both these artists (and many more independents on RSG) are also on Spotify, so Rock On!

We’re all still waiting on the Halloween Event to fire up. No announcement on when, but the community is all eagerly waiting for it to drop. When it does, expect another update from me. Something I think the Dev team should consider is adding a vehicle drop to the events, maybe not all of them, but hey, for Halloween, who wouldn’t want a spooky roadster like the one from Munsters Go Home! Or a Gothmobile! (There’s a tune – Vampire Beach Babes.) Yeah, I really think there is opportunity for some holiday events to have a vehicle drop. (Hint! Hint!)

Any rate, I broke through level 200 and unlocked the Manager slot in game, unlocking Zone 4. Unfortunately, to run the first mission there, I have to hit level 210. That’s a ways away. And of course, hitting that milestone I screwed up and ran, you guessed it, Band Auditions! Why me? Oh, well.

Other fun stuff for my progress, on new card day I had my very first Legendary drop, Degsy! This is a nice add to my collection, and even better, it is Mint #1 of this card. The RNG gods smiled upon me that day.

On the crafting front, I do dig crafting as it is an opportunity to craft new and different instruments, and helps to increase my position on the leaderboard. Somehow I had two different gold parts on guitars, and decided to work on accumulating the other parts needed to craft G1111.

Yep, got it done today, the G1111 is now in my inventory, a cool Flying-V guitar providing Instrument 250 Luck, which is a nice boost to my Guitar Lesson skill range. Yeah, crafting is fun, and a good way to burn Starbits. And yes, going to continue to add more crafted instruments to my collection. Maybe a few drum kits and production rigs over the next few weeks.
