A pawfect week

Hello Hello to all you wonderful Hivians

Today this post is for #SublimeSunday which is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108.

Because well it was sublime, it was superb and it was scintillating!

Yesterday Celtic only drew at home. They are imploding, whilst Rangers are on the ascendancy under the new Belgian manager Phillip Clement!

So today we kicked of at noon.

The gaffer made 5 changes from their last match. If we beat the team today from Perth (St Johnstone) it will be the first time for 20 years that we have beaten them five times in a row.

We were away from home, the sun was shining and the match ... well it finished ...

Yes we won 3-0 away from home.

Rangers are top of the league!

The first time since August 2022!

Something not even the hardest of diehard Rangers fans though was possible until we sacked the previous manager and recruited Clement!

Best signing for fluffing ages!

In fact it was been a wonderfully wicked weekend!

Valentine's Day was on 14th and yes I was giving my self breathing room while I try to work out that it was on Wednesday!

And here is me writing this post while drinking from my gift from Mrs T!

image.png

Perfect you say! Well pawfect anyway!

We don't really do Valentine's anymore, over hyped and priced nonsense in a way. If we want things we get them when we see them, and as for being thoughtful that is something that should be done every day as a matter of course not only once a year.

I did get her an orchid, which was reduced and we saw whilst shopping a couple of weeks ago. Funnily enough it was when Mrs T got that mug. I had to pretend not to look or see it until the 14th.

image.png

Poor wee thing sitting all neglected on the discount trolley! We just looked at each other, and that was that.

Well it came home with us.

Actually Mrs T doesn't do flowers any more. They are great to look and smell, but then they wilt and die and have to be thrown out.. She does not like that..

So my answer I discovered many moons ago was to buy her a plant. Works wonders.

Let's hope the coming week is as good as this week has been!

What about your weekend or Valentine's Day?
Did you have fun...

Impromptu gifts based on knowing your other half are much nicer than being coerced by businesses and 'culture'

It must have felt really good as your club Rangers beat St Johnstone convincingly.
I'm glad Rangers is at the top, I hope they don't come down.

A plant was a nice gift for Mrs T

Valentine's Day is just a big cut out for profit day lol. I believe that showing love can be done in any other day, it feels like a business obligation almost to have to do kind gestures on this particular day.

Your gifts are beautiful, both the mug with your message and the orchids. It is nice to keep the tradition with some details.

My valentine's day, I spent it watching a movie alone and then I had to spend the night awake with my grandmother who had a power surge, the next day was horrible, but nothing to regret, we are still standing.

this year i felt that people don't believe much in the commercial day of love anymore. only the young people enjoy this day. sometimes at home there is a flot or chocolate. but the truth is that love is all year long for me and that's why i didn't pay attention to it this year.
