Thé préparations for thé feast /Les préparatifs pour la fête

The cakes prepared for the celebration, the Baklava, before putting them in their packaging, are really delicious. My friend who made them is very skilled in the kitchen.

When visiting my friend a day before the celebration of the Feast of Sacrifice, for those who do not know our celebration, it is a festival where we slaughter a sheep. It is a religious rite, and everyone who can financially afford to buy a sheep is obligated to sacrifice it. Of course, we enjoy the good meat, savoring the various parts of the sheep: chops, leg, etc. Obviously, we don't eat everything on the same day, and since we have to offer part of the sheep, about one-third, to those who cannot afford to buy one, we do so.

For this day, we prepare cakes. My friend made baklavas for coffee and also to offer to others , family and friends.

They are really delicious; my friend is truly a little master chef. As for me, I will buy some cakes from the pastry shop, and with what my friend will offer me, I think it will be enough.

Well, the atmosphere is guaranteed with the children who greatly appreciate the presence of the sheep, although they are sad at the idea of eating it. But we explain to them that it is a religious duty. They end up understanding and are very happy to see skewers of meat on their plates.

En rendant visite a mon amie un jour avant la célébration de la fête du sacrifice du mouton, pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas notre fête , c'est une fête où on égorge le mouton , c'est un rite religieux, et tous ceux qui peuvent financièrement acheter le mouton sont dans l'obligation de sacrifier le mouton , et bien sûr nous profitons de la bonne viande , on se régale avec les différentes parties du mouton, côtelettes, gigot , etc... évidemment, on ne mange pas tout le jour même, et comme il faut offrir une partie du mouton , un tiers environ à ceux qui ne peuvent pas se permettre d'en acheter un mouton.

Pour cette journée, on prépare les gâteaux, mon amie a fait des baklawas pour le café et pour offrir aussi , c'est vraiment délicieux, c'est un vrai petit cordon bleu mon amie , en ce qui me concerne je vais acheter quelques gâteaux à la pâtisserie et avec ce que mon amie va m'offrir , je pense ça suffira .

Et bien l'ambiance est garantie avec les enfants qui apprécient énormément la présence du mouton , quoiqu'ils sont tristes à l'idée de le manger mais on leurs explique que c'est un devoir religieux, ils finissent par comprendre et tout contents de voir des brochettes de viande dans leurs assiettes.
