Question: Picking Sides: There are so many things we can’t go a day without as humans. Would you choose a day without your phone 📱 or a day without food 🥘 .

This is a very fascinating prompt because its like a two edges sword ⚔️ that is very dangerous avoiding when you are caught up in a situation physical combat.

Food 🥘 is among the basic necessities of life , if not the most important among clothing and shelter. This means that man as humans needs food to survive. But considering here the importance of the two items mentioned which is the # phone and food, I will basically pick my phone over food.

Even our Lord Jesus Christ went without food for forty days and forty night. And when the devil 👿 came tempting Him with several things which he rejected, and mentioning food along the line, Jesus told him ( the devil 👿) that “ man can not live by bread 🍞 alone”. Bread here means food.

And just for one day? I will choose to have my phone 📱 ten times over food because phone is a device I can not joke with when it comes to making a choice. My phones are my mobile office because of the kind of job I do. As a Realtor who deals with clients, my phone must be active 24/7, although inspections are not carried out on Sundays, but arrangements can be made through the phones on Sunday of how appointments can resume or go on from Monday.

Phone 📱 is a very vital device that can never be compared to other devices except the computer 💻 which a phone is its mini device. And apart from work, every transaction I do is from my phone and all information relating to my online banking is stored in the phone. I can not remember the last time I visited my bank or the ATM. Online banking is so swift and a does not end without one or two transactions.

How about paying of bills we do everyday? If its not Electricity, it could be Cable subscription. And even at the supermarket, phones are mostly used for transfer of money of items purchased. The ATM Cards 🎴 most times fail us, so I can rely on my phone for transfer of payment.

Although network sometimes hinders one to carry out some activities online, but it can never be compared to without food for just one day. Staying without a phone for a day is like being disconnected from the world 🌎.

However, families rely on their cell phones to connect with their loved 🥰 ones . I call and monitor my children from my phone especially when they are in school 🏫 or went to a place their not familiar with. I could go on and on of how important it is to have my phone at all times because communication and connectivity is what life is all about . That food 🥘 can just stay for a day as I take a fast a drink water 💦 all day 😄!
