PART 2: My Son's 7th Birthday |  A Simple Celebration

Hey Hivers! How are you all today? I hope you are doing great. So here's the continuation:

To my cutie patotie:

January 7, we got up early, ate breakfast, and started preparing the things to bring. We started cooking the pancit bihon and lumpia and fried chicken for lunch.

After which, my cousin and her kids came already. Verys was surprised again because I didn't tell him they'd come. He was having fun and was already excited to go to the pool. By 2 in the afternoon, we headed out and brought the things needed. It was just a one-way ride going to the resort.

When we arrived, we paid for the entrances, checked in, placed the food on the table, and put some decor up. We took pictures before the kids went to the beach for a swim. They were so eager to go. lol

I posted the link to the place on my previous blog, Part 1.

The beach was okay, and there were lifeguards on duty, too. Me and my friend Hyacinth went to the market to buy charcoal and fish for dinner. so the boys can roast the marinated pork and fish. When we arrived back at the resort, my cousin and her kids were preparing to go home. They're going to travel to Lapu-Lapu City. I packed them food and cake to bring.

While waiting for the meat and fish to roast, we did chitchat with my cousins and friends until dinner time. Carla had already arrived by dinner time.

About an hour after eating dinner, we decided to swim and enjoy the pool. We took pictures as well. Verys was enjoying the kids pool with the playground and playing with other kids swimming too.

The whole night we enjoyed chatting and swimming at the pool. Then Tere arrived straight from her internship duty. She ate dinner, and we continued enjoying the beach because it was high tide. We slept at around 3 in the morning. Tere didn't sleep and cooked breakfast for us. Yey!

The morning came, and Tere, with the help of Ate Mabel, set out. They cooked palabok, hotdogs, and cucumber with salted egg.

Everyone woke up and had breakfast. It was around eight already. We then cleaned up everything, packed our things, and cleaned the place, making it ready for check-out at noon.

We went home and then had lunch. After an hour, my cousins went home because they had classes the next day. Carla went home at six in the evening.

Everyone enjoyed it, especially my son, Verys. And I thanked all of them for coming to celebrate with us his 7th birthday.

Thank you, Hivers, for reading this far. Until my next blog! All the best!
