I used to play Golem Overlord and stopped playing it for a month.
It's quite interesting from beginning but it's just boring repeatly what I need to do everyday :(

I know what you mean but I don't mind building slowly with lots of different things to upgrade. It helps to join a guild, we have room in the Renowned Order Of Tacticians and @forykw has his own guild as well if you get interested again.

Didn't know you were in a guild! =) nice! 2% bonus like mine! And soon there will be upgrades. ATX one is hopefully reaching Bunker 5 too. Not much left... but a lot of people are getting lazy in my guild. I don't blame them... !LOL Lot's happening in 2024... damn economy is changing social economics... especially here in NZ.

I have been slowed down (in the game) by IRL work, quite a bit from what I was doing. Still, was thinking I was going to drop quite a lot in ranking, and I didn't...

Persistence and listening to feedback are very important in these ventures. And as you said, it is a slowly building progress thing, especially because

The game is still in development... and being around for checking how things evolve, does give you some "game" advantage if you like to play with those rules. Up to anyone for playing... obviously.

I am mainly trying things and having fun when I can... But I am biased because of how much I have tried on HIVE and for how long I see those games enduring against other blockchains.
