Shopping for a new apartment

In all honesty, I don’t even realize that I spend this much days away from writing a post. Trying to figure out what I’m doing with my life has been quite frustrating.
My cousin got me to leave the house yesterday. She just rented an apartment and she needed to go shopping for a couple of things.
While waiting for her to get ready, I spent time watching Tyler Perry’s Sistas.

That movie has been taking away all my time as I’m always eager to know what will happen next.

So we finally set off to the mall. It was a long ride cause there’s a lot of traffic during that time of the day.

We spent over an hour on the road before we finally got there.

We got in and went straight to getting what we went there for, else we would end up spending on things we didn’t plan.

We had to get lights. We got some regular bulbs, a little chandelier, and a particular one that she would use in her make up studio. I really liked that one but I forgot its name. And I didn’t even remember to take pictures of any of the different types of lights we got.

We moved on to get some doormats for her bathroom. We couldn’t really find the colors to match the aesthetic she’s trying to create but we still had to take some like that. Then we got a mop, broom and a shovel. I don’t really buy things from malls and I was surprised how cheap they were. I guess it’s just that particular mall.

Walking around, we found some flowers and had to get some. A lot of indecisiveness but we finally got some. We got some other things as well but I can’t remember cause I didn’t take any pictures.

Then we got to another major reason we were there. Curtains and curtains holders. Picking out the curtain holders and window blinds wasn’t really an issue.

The main headache was choosing the curtains. I wasn’t really concentrating cause I had so many thoughts in my head and she wasn’t feeling well as well. Just a day ago, she went to get her tooth removed and it was a terrible ordeal.

Finally we decided on the curtains and make our way to the cashier.
We waited outside for a while before our ride arrived. The driver was so rude even without saying a word.
He got down from the car, opened the booth for us to put the things in and stood there watching us. I realized it and started putting the things in the car myself.
When we got home, he got down, ooo the boot again and stood there. My cousin told him she’s not feeling well so he should help us bring out the things. He didn’t even act like he heard anything. So I just told her we should get the things out ourselves cause he is not going to do it. It’s so strange. I’ve never seen a driver act like that.

I’m pissed that I couldn’t give him a low ranking and bad review cause I wasn’t the one that ordered the ride. Today is just his lucky day.😏

Hopefully, I will make another post when we are setting up the apartment and a general update on what I’ve been up to.
