I made this drawing and designed the piece and I am sharing my working process below, so scroll down if you are interested to see it 😅

Software I used :

Adobe Illustrator 2019

Working Steps :

I start with first character body parts and copy/paste it and stretched one, a little.
Draw face of one character first and than work on the other character face.
Than I draw their hands and Gift Box.
And fill colors to my drawing.

Now I start work for background design 😁, I put heart shape using PEN TOOL, and use stylish brush option for it.
Copy and joined that heart lines and cut it and give different stylize coloring to it.
And put the text "Happy Birthday"

I put some other curved lines using PEN TOOL for decorate my pieces.
I expand that "Happy Birthday" text and put it with the heart curving line.
Than I put another text "My Brother" and wrap it using "SHELL-LOWER" option in wrapping box.

I played with stylish color options for my expanded text and you can check the first image as my final piece.

That's all what I did to complete this piece. And than I asked my Heroin about it. And she approved it 😂🤣
