“Anyone becomes a programmer with AI”

I read this today somewhere I don't remember at the time, with a busy Monday and a lot to get done, I skimmed through some news on my phone and saw that some big boss of some big company said this.

And I've been a programmer, Visual Basic 6 and C# (C-sharp) .net for about 12 years now (started in 2011) but not sure what month I started, not that it matters much for this text.

I'm increasingly scared of what artificial intelligence can accomplish, not just for the good side or the absurd streamlining it provides, but what about my job in the future? How will it be? Will I really be replaced?

Doubts aside, reading news like this made me feel sad and unmotivated, as it seems to be trivializing my job, my effort and my sacrifice, only those who studied and worked at the same time know how difficult it is to balance so much and I, went through many difficult and agonizing times to learn and stay alive during this period.

Now, my line of work, seen by many as amazing and otherworldly, is normalized with fateful “Anyone”. Difficult and boring times, demotivating, of a society that is focusing on producing more, doing more and in return, discarding human beings and their effort, work and intelligence.

The AI doesn't get tired, it doesn't get destroyed like me after a long day at work and more than 12 calls / tickets (well above normal flow) resolved during my 8 hours of salaried work. And what do I get in return? NOTHING, not a bonus, not a thank you, just… more work.

Yeah, the future looks bleak, while I can't live off of content creation alone, the way is to keep trying to earn some money and invest in more things, whatever it may be, for passive income or something else like that.

A future that makes me apprehensive, after all, I became just “Anyone” in this sea of “Various Anyone”.

“Qualquer um se torna um programador com IA”

Li isso hoje em algum lugar que não me recordo no momento, com uma segunda-feira movimentada e muita coisa para efetuar, passei os olhos rapidamente por algumas notícias no meu celular e vi que algum grande chefe de alguma grande empresa disse isso.

E eu sou um programador, de Visual Basic 6 e C# (C-sharp) .net há mais ou menos 12 anos (comecei em 2011) mas não tenho certeza quanto ao mês de início, não que isso importe muito para esse texto.

Estou cada vez mais amedrontado com o que a inteligência artificial pode realizar, não apenas para o lado bom ou pela agilizada absurda que ela proporciona, mas, e o meu emprego no futuro? Como será? Será que irei mesmo ser substituído?

Dúvidas a parte, ler uma notícia dessa me fez sentir triste e desmotivado, ao parecer que está banalizando o meu emprego, o meu esforço e o meu sacrifício, só quem estudou e trabalhou ao mesmo tempo, sabe de como é difícil equilibrar tanta coisa e eu, passei por muitos momentos complicados e de agonia para aprender e me manter vivo durante este período.

Agora, o meu ramo de trabalho, visto por muitos como uma coisa incrível e de outro mundo, é normalizado com “Qualquer Um” fatídico. Tempos difíceis e chatos, desmotivadores, de uma sociedade que está focando em produzir mais, fazer mais e em troca, descartar seres humanos e seu esforço, trabalho e inteligência.

A IA não cansa, não fica destruída como eu depois de um longo dia de trabalho e mais de 12 chamados / tickets (fluxo bem acima do normal) resolvidos durante minhas 8 horas de profissão assalariada. E o que recebo em troca? NADA, nem um bônus, nem um obrigado, apenas… mais trabalho.

É, o futuro parece sombrio, enquanto não consigo viver apenas de criação de conteúdo, o jeito é ir tentando ganhar um dinheiro e investir em mais coisas, seja lá qual for, para um rendimento passivo ou qualquer outra coisa do tipo.

Futuro que me deixa apreensivo, afinal, me tornei apenas “Qualquer Um” neste mar de “Vários Quaisquer Um”.
