THE VILLAGE DIARY:

I regain consciousness, tossed by the slow movement of the cart I'm lying in.

I wonder what it would be like if infected people came through the portal and spread the Z epidemic throughout the galaxy.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:

Je reprends conscience balloté par le mouvement lent du charriot dans lequel je suis allongé.
Je vois défiler un paysage de hautes herbes, de roseaux et quelques arbres clairsemés, nous sommes donc sortis de la forêt magique. Je ferme les yeux.
Quand je les ouvre de nouveau, il fait presque nuit, le charriot est à l'arrêt et j'entends @itahragaian psalmodier des chants chamaniques à mon côté.

• Enfin! me dit il, tu as dormi presque toute la journée, bois et mange un peu puis nous parlerons, j'ai une incroyable histoire à te raconter, nous l'avons échappé belle !

Il me raconte un peu plus tard les évènements qui ont suivi ma perte de connaissance quand il m'a tiré in extremis du portail magique:

La druidesse s'est de nouveau approchée de notre groupe, elle est vraiment désolée, pleine de culpabilité et souhaite absolument nous donner une explication sur la raison pour laquelle elle voulait nous faire passer ce portail vers une autre planète.

Elle sait que ce qu'elle a fait est impardonnable, mais elle n'avait pas le choix.
Les diablotins ne sont que des pions dans un jeu qui les dépasse et qui se déroule à l'échelle des galaxies.
Des entités d'une puissance inimaginable l'ont inventé pour passer le temps, chacune disposant d'un portail magique.

Ces diablotins ont franchi ce portail sur leur planète, et se retrouvent coincés chez nous.
Leur seule chance de rentrer chez eux est de piéger un groupe, l'inciter à passer le portail qui le conduirait sur une nouvelle planète, et où pour se libérer il devrait à son tour piéger un autre groupe.
C'est un jeu de duperie sans fin et les entités s'en délectent.
La règle perverse est qu'on ne peut pas forcer un groupe à passer le portail, il serait rejeté, il doit le franchir de son plein gré.

Je me demande ce que ça donnerait si des infectés passaient le portail et répandaient l'épidémie Z dans toute la galaxie.
Après tout c'est de la responsabilité des entités qui dirigent ce jeu odieux, mais j'imagine qu'elles se moquent des conséquences.
