For the narrative part of this article, I'm going to use the poll tool (at the end of the post) to let you participate in the evolution of the story of the migrating village, which will have to make choices at times.

THE VILLAGE DIARY:

Just as we were about to leave the enchanted forest where we had spent our first peaceful night since the evacuation of our zombie-ridden VILLAGE, we met a druidess.

She's the first human we've come across in this wood, which we thought was populated only by imps and other peaceful magical creatures.

She's very beautiful and radiates a powerful energy, and we're delighted that she understands our language.

We peppered her with questions about this forest and the creatures that inhabit it.
Her answers were vague, but she introduced herself as an ambassador for humans in this place, with the role of preserving it from any malicious intent.

She's been watching us ever since we entered and she's very pleased with the way we've behaved and would like to give us a parting gift.

She has authorized us to use a magical portal that would allow us to travel rapidly to a destination of our choice. We've told her about the island which is our final destination, but as we don't know its exact position, she suggests we arrive near the ocean.

The problem is that we can't take our carts through the gate, only what we can carry with us. We need to discuss this further amongst ourselves to come to a decision (POLL), but not for too long as the gate will close at midnight.

Are we going to trust the druidess, and give up most of our belongings to save time, or are we going to risk a longer journey with all the dangers that entails?

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:

Alors que nous étions sur le point de quitter la forêt enchantée où nous avons pu passer notre première nuit paisible depuis l'évacuation de notre VILLAGE assailli par les zombies, nous avons rencontré une druidesse.

C'est la première humaine que nous croisons dans ce bois que nous pensions uniquement peuplé de diablotins et autres créatures magiques pacifiques.

Elle est très belle et irradie une puissante énergie, nous sommes sous le charme et enchantés qu'elle comprenne notre langue.

Nous l'avons assaillie de question sur cette forêt et les créatures qui la peuplent.
Ses réponses sont restées vagues, elle s'est présentée comme une ambassadrice des humains en ce lieu, avec pour rôle de le préserver de toute intention malveillante, elle nous observe depuis que nous y sommes entrés.

Elle a beaucoup apprécié la manière dont nous nous sommes comportés et elle souhaite nous faire un cadeau de départ.

Elle nous autorise à utiliser un portail magique qui nous permettrait de voyager rapidement vers une destination de notre choix. Nous lui avons parlé de l'ile qui est notre objectif final, mais ne connaissant pas sa position exacte, elle nous propose une arrivée proche de l'océan.

Le problème est que nous ne pouvons pas faire passer nos charriots par le portail, seulement ce que nous pourrons porter sur nous. Nous devons en discuter plus longuement entre nous pour prendre une décision (POLL), mais pas trop longtemps car le portail se fermera à minuit.

Allons nous faire confiance à la druidesse et abandonner la majeure partie de nos biens pour gagner du temps ou prenons nous le risque d'un voyage plus long avec les dangers que cela représente ?
