The GSP group were scheduled to have a campout outside the city so the girls got excited. At last they're able to go out after the outbreak! Antonia was one of them so that made me busy packing her stuffs. As expected, a long list was provided to each one of them for them to carry in their upcoming activities. One of which is a torch during their night out activity along the beach.

I then asked my buddyto cut a fresh bamboo pole for about 2 meters and sharpen the other end so it can be easily pushed down to the sandy ground.

Materials

•Bamboo pole
•Jar
•Wick
•Joint
•Kerosene
•Cutter

I cleaned the segments first to have a smooth surface.

The upper portion were cut into small strips halfway.

I used our recycled jar to store a small amount of kerosene. It's more safe to avoid spillage. Girls tend to get clumsy when they're excited

I used a tin cover to make a tube for the cotton wick. The wick should be made cotton to allow easier absorption of the kerosene.

There it is!

Since I don't have a rattan twine, I used a recycled gamuza leather and cut it into strips and wind it around the bamboo strips to make a pleasing traditional look.

Finally, I twined a jute string around the bottle and bamboo strips to make it stable.

Unfortunately they were not allowed to bring mobiles along the beach. She said it was quite a sight with only those torches lighting with their Hawaiian attires. I customized her outfit too.
