GLX or SPS, Which token will you pick?
I am a devoted player of the Splinterlands and love to play, when most of the players have delegated their "playing" responsibilities to XBOT or some other form of bots, I still play and even enjoy seeing the battle till the end. I am not a big shot in Splinterlands and still have a "Gold level deck" but I have earned my deck, a couple of land plots (actually 3), and my stake in SPS that is now more than 270K SPS staked and 2 Node license. Even in this bear market. my Splinterlands holding is still more than $15000 USD
I have created my "long-term SPS goals" and I am chasing them from day one when the SPS airdrop was started. I already promised myself after buying my second Node License that I m not going to purchase any more stuff using SPS until I complete my initial target of 300K SPS in my account.
By summing up all the SPS staked in my 3 different accounts, my overall stake in SPS is now 271K. So I am still short of 29K SPS, so there is no way I am leveraging/selling SPS before I reach my soft target of accumulating 300 K SPS.
So recently when I have funds, I decided to go for GLX purchase instead of SPS purchase even though I am short of my SPS goals and I never made any strong "GLX" goals.
One of the reason is for buying GLX is that GLX is going super cheap at $.007 and it has less maximum supply than SPS (3 billion vs 2 billion).
Even in this 2 billion only 600 million will be released for Genesis League Sports Soccer Game.. The rest of the GLX will be released when they partner with other game brands.
The only concern in the GLS game is that the playable Beta is yet to be launched.
But Still, I will bet on this game as I shared the screenshot where we saw that Lionel Messi joined MLS and this partnership caused interest in MLS over the world. There are a lot of things that need to be taken care but if we are able to contain Messi in the club and able to print cards, then it will cause huge demand for it. I hope that GLX can shoot up strong and may not come down. So SPS is my long-term strategy but at this moment it look like GLX promises to deliver in a very short span of time too.
So currently, I am putting my focus on both and spending my liquid money into GLX instead of SPS as I think Lionel Messi can create super gains in GLX staking.

I'm quite hopeful about GLX, simply because football (soccer) has such broad worldwide appeal, giving it a great potential for a huge following for the game. Cool as Splinterlands might be, it's still somewhat "niche." If you live pretty much anywhere other than the USA, chances are you grew up kicking a soccer ball around... that bodes well.

Soccer fan following is crazy but there is some established game like "Sorare" too, I hope the team will create superior game play.
