Hi splinterlands community, this is my entry to the splinterlands social challenge for this week. This week I am writing about a battle I fought today.

Summoner and Team Choices

I chose this water summoner to grant my cards +1 speed and +1 shield. My opponent brought the same summoner as well.

Round 1

---

Looking at my opponent's most played teams before the battle, I noticed he liked to use the water element and also deeplurker. I guessed he would repeat a similar team since he liked the water element.

I attacked first killing my opponent's Venari Markstrat. Its death resulted in my oppoent's Djinn Oshanus to get +1 magic, speed, shield and health. Djinn Oshanus attacked my first card and my Medarli Guardian healed my first card.

My Deeplurker attacked my opponent's Merdaali Guardian and my opponent's Deeplurker attacked my last card. My water caller couldn't do any health damage to my opponent's first card but it stunned it and my opponent's Riverboat captain did -1 health to my first and second cards. My second card Venari Marsktrat reduced the shield of my opponent's first card to 1.

Round 2

I attacked first with my Djinn Oshanus but my opponent's Merdaali Guardian healed him and he attacked my Djinn Oshanus. My Merdaali Guardian healed my Djinn Oshanus and my opponent's Deeplurker attacked my Venari Markstrat. My Deeplurker killed my opponent's Merdaali Guardian in the middle of the second round.

My opponent's Riverboat Captain attacked my first card and killed my second card. The death of Venari Markstrat gave my first card +1 health, speed, magic and shield. It also gave my Deeplurker +1 melee, speed, shield and health.

Round 3

My opponent attacked first with Djinn Oshanus and I attacked with mine as well. My Deeplurker attacked my opponent's Riverboat Captain removing the shield and my Merdaali Guardian healed my first card. My oppoent's Deeplurker killed my last card.

Riverboat Captain did damage to both my first and second cards and my water caller stunned my opponent's first card.

Round 4

My first card attacked first and my Deeplurker killed my opponent's Riverboat Captain. Merdaali Guardian healed my first card and my opponent's Deeplurker removed my Guardian's shield.

Round 5

---

My first card and my opponent's first card exchanged attacks at the start of round 5 and Deeplurker continued the attack to remove my opponent's first monster's shield. My Guardian healed my first card but then was killed my by opponent's Deeplurker. My water caller stunned my opponent's first card.

Round 6

---

My first card attacked my opponent's first card and my Deeplurker missed the attack on my opponent's Djinn Oshanus. But my opponent's Deeplurker removed my water caller's shield.

Round 7

My Djinn Oshanus attacked my opponent's Djinn Oshanus causing it to have 1 health and my Deeplurker killed it. My water caller did damage to my opponent's remaining card (Deeplurker) and stunned it.

Round 8 and Round 9

My first card attacked my opponent's Deeplurker and my other cards attacked to kill my opponent's Deeplurker.

I won this battle after 9 rounds.
