I am aware of the rolling shutter but it was my first time experiencing it in real time and man it ruined these perfect panning shots that I got the other day as I was doing my early morning walk.

I am trying to practice my panning shots since most local photographers here shot vehicles than people. They do shot people as well but very rarely. They get these beautiful panning shots which I really love to look at and so I tried to do it myself.

It isn't my first time practicing panning shots though but it is the first time I've experienced a rolling shutter effect. It was quite evident in these photos since the background is an ancestral house which was made by stone.

While some do hate the rolling shutter effect but to me it looks just fine since I am an amateur photographer and I'm pretty sure normal people wouldn't even notice the rolling shutter effect since they will be mostly focused on the subject :D

To all normal people there who ain't photographers what do you think? Does it bother you that the background is distorted a little because of the rolling shutter effect? To me it looks cool though since it portrays movement in a still photo

I'm pretty sure pro photographers are screaming at me right now saying "NO! Rolling shutter is bad man!" hahaha beauty is subjective brothers and sisters. If you like a perfect shot then be my guest right? :D

If you think of perfection then you're probably in the wrong world or in dreamland right now since nothing is perfect, well expect if you use mechanical shutter :D sorry I'll not use the electronic shutter ever again... ever :(

But I really like the silence it brings though :( It makes me stealthy lol oh well better change my settings now and hopefully it won't happen again but then again though it looks cool to me :D if you want movement rolling shutter is the way :)
