Our country's economy is taking us on a wild ride to an unknown destination. Life in the coming years is so unpredictable, even for the politicians, I guess. I can't blame it all on our leaders because who knows, they might be working their butts off to prevent this, but sometimes things are just bound to happen and can't be changed as we want.

Some mistakes can't be undone, no matter how much we regret them. Whether we made the right choice in leadership or not, it has happened and now we have to go with the flow. Who knows? Maybe this is how things were meant to be.

I find myself not complaining, and sometimes I wonder why I'm acting so indifferent. It's not that I'm not bothered, I am affected to some extent. Like when we had the global warming situation and we were dealing with extreme heat. Even with the lack of a consistent power supply, I didn't complain about the heat. Instead, I got myself a hand fan and tried to make the best of it, despite how uncomfortable it was.
It's more like I wanted to adapt and find my way to stay comfortable with it.

Somehow I would have said I'm already receptive— to the recent conditions but that wouldn't be true. It's something completely new and unprecedented. Even if similar things happened in the past, it can't be the same because times have changed, people have changed, and the environment has changed too.

In the past few years, I've learned not to complain and instead focus on the positive side of things. It's like this mindset has become a part of me, making it hard for me to join in on the complaints about the rapid economic crisis around me.
I feel uncomfortable voicing out those words of complaint because I know they won't change anything.

But one thing I'm certain of is that no matter the situation, humans always find a way of adapting to survive.

As I said earlier I choose to see the positive aspects of life. The fact that we're not facing something as devastating as a world war or even worse, is truly a blessing. Waking up every morning, seeing my family, and living as if nothing is going on is something I'm truly thankful for.

I'm a contented person too. I don't waste time crying over things that are beyond my reach, and I'm grateful for that mindset. There are so many things that don't bother me, even when I see them everywhere.

Recently, I've been spending most of my time indoors (as I am through with school exams) and it's become my go-to strategy to avoid unnecessary expenses.

I'm not bothered by it at all. I've discovered so many new things I can do alone to enjoy my time.

I've been immersing myself in creative fiction worlds, getting lost in someone else's imagination through books.
And when I feel like it, I plunge into those "build yourself" books to intentionally learn and grow.

I find joy in both, and that's what truly matters to me right now. Doing what excites me and keeping an eye on my family and friends. What peace could be more than that?

Maybe I'm feeling this way because I don't have as many responsibilities as parents and guardians do. I really admire them and I pray for their strength and success in everything they do.

Every day, I make sure to tell my mom how much I love her and how precious she is to me and everyone. It brings me so much joy to see her smile wholeheartedly when she hears those words because I genuinely mean them from the depths of my heart.

I think we all need love during this time, so I make it a point to express my love to those I care about. It warms their hearts, just like it warms mine when I hear it.

All I want for my loved ones is happiness. I truly hope they find it in these challenging times. I want to see them happy and not let the negativity infect them to the point where they can't appreciate the other beautiful things in life. I love seeing them cope and holding onto hope that tomorrow will be better than today. Because I believe it will.

If you've read to this point, thank you so much. I appreciate your time and support❤️.
