In Spain, Autumn is Green .:. Saturday Walk

To not break up in half like the orange from the first image in this post, I decided to keep my weekends more relaxed... I still do some work, but trying to keep it to a minimum... It wasn't an easy habit to "create" as almost all my life I was working for myself... And when you work for yourself, you are the worst boss ever...

It was work 24/7 for me, and in a certain period of time, I would work until late hours, have just a few hours of sleep, etc... Long story short, it was bad... I was stressed about everything and it was time to pull the break and slow down, or I would explode (like that orange 😀)

After making that decision, I'm finally happy when my weekends are coming... :) I have never understood people who would hate Mondays as for me, all days were the same... But now, I do see a difference and that means that I'm successfully keeping my weekends loose...

What does that mean? Well, I do most of my work during the mornings, so my afternoon and evenings are almost 100% free... I say almost, as I do play a bit of Splinterlands and Rising Star in the meantime... :) Okay, maybe I do check some market orders, but that's it!

Today was a similar day and I kept my late afternoon for the best of Saturday, my daily walk! This time, I took a longer route which lasted almost 2 hours, but it was relaxing... I didn't plan to take this many pictures, tbh, I didn't plan to take, but I just couldn't resist with so many beautiful things to shoot :)

As you can see oranges are still green, and nisperos (medlar) are slowly starting to form fruits and there is still that specific smell of its flowers...

Some of the olives are ready for harvest, but some others are still "dual-colored" like those in the photo above...

It's interesting that it was very windy when I left my home for a walk... As a matter of fact, you can see it in the photo with flags, but on my way back home, two hours after it was almost NO wind at all... This is very often the case in this part of Spain and almost every early morning and evening, there is no wind... and the sea can be very calm... sometimes you have a feeling that it's a big lake...

As usual, in every walk, I spot some weird things and for today, we have this measuring meter that someone forgot who knows when on this fence...

The most popular fruit that you can meet in "the gardens" are oranges, but there is one big field of lemon trees and you can see it in the photo below... It is too early for lemons to have lemon fruit, but you can notice new branches on the trees colored light green! It's a pity that my mobile phone can't make this image more real as it looks awesome!

Just 2-3 years ago, this "ranch" was abandoned, but luckily, someone bought it... and even more, luckily, it kept this awesome entrance, with the old gate, and the name of the property! I don't know why, but I like how it looks and it reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Young Frankenstein... (not sure if there is some gate that looks like this, but it brings memories about it...😃)

I had to do another photo, from a different angle, just to catch those fantastic sun rays through the trees...

Speaking of sun rays, you will see a lot of them in the next photos as the evening was coming and it was time to take some sunset pictures... :)
