After Show Show! .:. Recap of Hive Humpday Hangout SE #02 (Wednesday, February 28)

I couldn't describe better the last #HHHLive show that we had in the Ecency Discord last Wednesday than what it says in the title... It was such a blast as we had a super-relaxed session which reminded me of after shows that we are doing every time, after the "official show" hour... So, in some way, we didn't have a show at all, but we had a big meetup where we were jumping through different topics that guys and girls from the audience wanted...

This was the second "special edition" show and I think that we will continue doing them in the future too as it was a lot of fun... I suggested them for the last Wednesdays in the month, but we can change the day as it fits others...

As it was announced as a show that will not be recorded, I will do a short recap here in the "text version only"... In the beginning, we had 16 participants in total and most of you guys stayed from the beginning to the end, which means that it was fun for you too... 😃

At the very beginning, we were lucky that we were able to witness the huge Bitcoin pump that was happening in the real-time, during the show! The price went from 61K to 64.5K, and then down to 58.6K, just to stabilize around 61K closer to the end of the show... That event was a perfect moment as an example of what happens if you decide to leverage trade during so volatile times... In most cases, the best thing that you can do is to DO NOTHING as it is very risky to enter either trade, buy or sell!

@alokkumar121 has joined the show in those moments, so we had a short chat about what to do and how to act... All that led to a topic that is impossible to avoid... price predictions 😃

Actually, @mypathtofire asked for financial advice even before I had time to greet everyone for coming to the show... 😂 In general, we exchanged our opinions regarding the prices of BTC and HIVE... Among others, @felixxx shared his views from his experience from the previous cycles, and @achim03 didn't want to give us exact number predictions... 😛

While we were speaking about BTC, I shared my old story of my first BTC purchase from 2013 and how I fell into the FOMO and FUD traps... To avoid it happening again, I took a screenshot of my BTC to remind me of that whenever I go into temptation...

When @felixxx shared his video capture from the game he was playing, it was the moment when we were ready to change the topic...

We went into the gaming sphere, easily through Holozing and thoughts about it, switched to Splinterlands and game changes that will/are implemented in the game, but also about tokenomics around it... We discussed tokenomics for GLG and Arcade Colony, Moon Karts, and some old games from our chain (legacy chain and HIVE), that are not anymore with us... @quekery was so kind to share with us some insights about old games that we didn't know, and it was fun to hear about...

After that, we went into the "ordinary" non-blockchain games, and slowly wrapped out the show as it was already over 1.5 hours passed! It was so much fun that the time was flying...

In this special edition show, we had 16 participants including myself! It was great to see some new people who joined the fun and I hope we will see them again in the future, @achim03, @alberto0607, @alokkumar121, @chinay04, @felixxx, @foxkoit, @incublus, @manclar, @melinda010100, @mypathtofire, @palomap3, @quekery, @sacra97, @travoved, and @memess! Yeah, volatility can hit back hard! Especially combined with leverage and in those moments BTC did that crazy big candle that went up and down... It washed out many inexperienced traders...
